Today a mass migration of economic migrants and asylum seekers,

NMJ specialises in finger picking 12 string guitar woven with Bowed Glissando. The sound has entranced live audiences on the live and festival circuit since 1976. His first 2 albums Ship to Shore and Sentinel have been re-released. 

Raft is NMJ’s tenth album. “Rafts are fragile, not permanent, and held together with hopes and dreams.”  

Features Guy Evans the drummer-percussionist with Van Der Graaf Generator. 

NMJ lives near the Cornish coast and once worked for Gerald Durrell in wildlife conservation. These influences are woven into the music.
He says, “A Raft is whatever we construct or create to carry us away.”
