Hello and welcome to episode 1 of In the Hot Tub With Huw and Nige, where we enjoy some fine wine, a little light hearted banter, and some good old fashioned reminiscing of the golden age of the 80’s (and a little 90’s).

It’s Christmas time, so we get a little festive and discuss the recent christmas shenanigans.

We discuss doctors visits, where Huw breaks down the perils of getting examined by the hot doctor who’s keen to diagnose his gooch problem. While Nige looks at getting a vasectomy with a very friendly doctor, with a penchant for saying “balls”.

We also break down our favourite 80’s action movies as well as what it takes to be a real 80’s action movie.

And to top it all off…Huw gives us the inspiring speech from the greatest ever moment in cinematic history.

In The Hot Tub With Huwballz & Nige - Ep.1

Ok so I've spent the better part of the year learning how to use Ableton from scratch with an awesome teacher. This is the first track I've worked on; learning how to stay in key, use EQ, compression and various other effects and plug-ins. It's probably not the exact genre I would listen to or make in the future...but it's a good start and given me a springboard to learn more and create. Any honest feedback is appreciated. I wanted to try my hands at doing some sampling, so I used a scene from Hard Target, which is one of my favourite terrible action movies. My buddy Huw (aka Lip/Stik) played a sweet riff on his cigar box guitar as well.
