A song written for my lovely Uncle Bill. 
He was a beautiful, kind, funny person who was always a joy to see. When you went round to visit, he would be gardening in his beautiful garden, but would stop for a cup of tea, and often get out his banjo or ukulele and sing songs & tell stories. 
He was a wonderful piano player, and played with many people in dance bands throughout Yorkshire. 
On the last occasion I saw him, (just before his 89th birthday), we played together, he on piano & me ukulele, and it is a treasured memory.  I also played him a song I had written, which he liked, and that was also a very special memory for me. 
He passed away in July 2020 aged 89, and this song is for him every time. x
