On Sunday night September 8th The Hamayan Community together with The Niggun Collective Band hosted a night of harmony and achdut and brought together a wide variety of singers/musicians to showcase their own versions of the incredible songs of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach Of Blessed Memory. The Hamayan shule was founded on the inspiration from Reb Shlomo and The Niggun Collective Band was also formed based partly on the inspiration from Reb Shlomo. Hamayan has hosted incredible singer/songwriters in the past including Shlomo Katz, Yonatan Razel, Naftali Abramson and put on memorable concerts with each of them. Shlomo Katz has been brought out by Hamayan twice and recently he recorded an incredible double cd taken from the live concerts he did in Melbourne.
