This wonderful song is composed and sang by Kuhu Mannan-- one of the very popular singers in recent times. The lyrics and the tune of the song has something so soothing that its almost impossible not to fall for it.

This version is, as always, my reinterpretation of the original song. Hope you guys like it!

সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে বাংলা গানের জগতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবান শিল্পীদের মাঝে কুহু মান্নান নিজের একটা স্বতন্ত্র  জায়গা করে নিয়েছেন। এই গানটি আদতে তার গাওয়া এবং সুর করা। এখানে আপনারা বরাবরের মত আমার ভার্সন শুনছেন। আপনাদের ভাল লাগলে কষ্ট সার্থক হয়েছে ধরে নেব।

১৩ই নভেম্বর হুমায়ুন আহমেদের জন্মদিন। চির চন্দ্রপিয়াসী মানুষটি আজীবন চেয়েছিলেন কোন এক উথাল পাথাল জোছনা রাতে এই পৃথিবী থেকে বিদায় নিতে। তার সে চাওয়া পূর্ণ হয়নি। তার মৃত্যুদিন ছিল কোন এক নিকষ অন্ধকার অমাবস্যা রাতে।

আজ, অর্থাৎ ১৩ নভেম্বর ২০১৬ তে উঠবে ভূবনভোলানো চাঁদ। এত উজ্জ্বল চাঁদ  আর ২০৩৪ এর আগে আমরা পাবো না।

এই গানটি হুমায়ুনের নিজের লেখা গান। সুর করেছিলেন খুব সম্ভবত মকসুদ জামিল মিন্টু। মূল গায়ক ছিলেন সেলিম চৌধুরী।

আমি এইখানে গানটির কভার ভার্সন গেয়েছি। আপনাদের ভালো লাগলে খুশি হবো।

The prolific writer and hugely popular Humayun Ahmed of Bangladesh was a born-moonstruck! All through his works and his life he made it known to everybody that he is infatuated with Moon, with Moonlit night. His wish was to die on a Moonlit night. Unfortunately it was a New Moon on that.

This song is dedicated to the ever Moonstruck Humayun on his birthday 13th November. This year (2016) on this special day, something special is happening. We are going to observe a SuperMoon. Last time this big and this much bright Moon came in 1948 and next Supermoon like this will happen in 2034.

The lyrics is Humayun's very own and was composed by Maksud Jamil Mintu.

I sang the cover version of this song. Hope you will like it.
