NIGHT OWL is a new music project that is all about the music and the production, memorable melodies and stimulating sounds, thought-provoking lyrics and soulful vocals. The songs range from the delicate to the intense, and from being natural-sounding to very electronic... whatever sounds and feels right.

Those who have heard the tracks have said they are atmospheric and even gothic, and have made favourable comparisons with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Depeche Mode.  Other influences are Talk Talk, Underworld, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and New Order

BIOGRAPHY

It all started with writing lyrics and melodies, recording them on tapes and computers, whatever was around, and then trying out a few songs with different people. But nothing ever got finished.

Then in summer 2012 there suddenly seemed to be more time to create music, and by May 2013 there were 4 professional-sounding tracks ready for the world to hear! The first Night Owl release was complete, an EP called Wondrous, titled in part because it's wondrous it's finished. And the name Night Owl, because much of the work on the release was done late at night. 

Excited by completing a release and encouraged by positive responses from friends & family, & a few strangers too, got started on more tracks. And so in Dec 2013, to meet the self-imposed of putting another EP out before Christmas 2013, 4 tracks were ready & released. 

CDs can be produced & shipped on request.  We are currently investigating the best means of digital distribution.

Meanwhile works continues on more new tracks.
