Story of Nightcrawler:
Once upon a time, there was a group of magicians. Everyone used white magic (magic of creation) to help people who did not know about magic. However, there was one magician who could not help others. He was the only one who was born with black magic (a magic of destruction). In other words, he was the only black magician. Moreover, he did not look the same comparing to other people because of his horns and purple skin. Even though he wanted to help others and it was shameful that he couldn't, he was isolated by the white magicians and was abandoned away from the kingdom. He lived in a waste land with no neighbours and friends and suffered loneliness until one day that he met a girl.
The girl was lost in the waste land when she was exploring. In a coincidence, she met the black magician that was mentioned before. Despite the abnormal appearance of the magician, the girl didn't mind at all. Later, they became friends and studied how to use his unique magic to help others to fix his burden with the knowledge that they have. They also made a promise to live no matter what the crisis or challenges that they would have.
After few weeks, the white magicians were searching for a missing prophet, so they came to the waste land. They met the black magician. Conflict was built in the conversation. The black magician was almost killed by the white magicians, but the girl sacrificed herself when she saw the battle. Later, the girl was revealed to be the prophet by the white magicians. However, it was too late to save her and the hatred within the black magician had triggered him to destroy everything around him with rage. There was nothing left but ashes and dusts. When the black magician realized that he had done something very immoral, he had nothing left but himself, so he decided to kill himself. Ironically, he could not because he had made a promise to the girl to "live no matter what the crisis or challenges that they would have". He knew that he could not give up on himself because there was a purpose for every moment that he was living. The purpose was to continue the promise and find out how to use black magic to help other people. At the end, he continued his studies in his magic and became the greatest mage in the kingdom after moving back in.
The story is deeply connected to the title: Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler is a lonely name that sounds like walking at night by yourself. It gives a feeling of loneliness due to isolation. However, we are never alone. We should not let others to disrupt our life journey because life is continuous when we do not give up. Therefore, do not give up your life, so you can have more opportunities in the future.

I am not a good pianist, but this music has a story behind. It is about the girl who is suffering from cancer and losing herself. She is going to die, but the guy is still with her and walks with her near the pond to enjoy the view of the maple leaves. The maple leaves reflects the beauty of the girl; however, it is soon coming to an end. The leaves also reflect the leaving (end of life) of the girl. Therefore, the guy composes this music, so she can be remembered eternally in his heart.
