This is a (mostly) live improvised piece recorded using a 1955 Wurlitzer 112 electric piano running through an Echoplex, and a tube condenser microphone placed between the piano and the open door to my screened-in porch. The title refers to perfectionism, the art killer.

You'll Never Be Satisfied

This piece was built around a field recording of me swimming in our above-ground pool on July 27 2025. It features a backdrop of Georgia's birds and cicadas, and the drone of the pool pump and our AC condenser. Over this, I layered a live synthesizer performance which I slowed down to quarter speed.
