New playlist stuff

We’re back in business once again as we continue to explore bass music in as many different avenues as we can. Today, we take a look at a spicy new collaboration that sees us explore a sizzling vocal production collaboration, set to knock a fair few socks off in the dance.

Enter: Dexterr, a Brisbane-based producer with an eye and ear for a serious piece of bass production. He is joined on this brand new roller by the name ‘Ready’ by SK, who has continued to impress over the last 18 months. The pair are in fine form, utilising a dazzling display of high ended synthesiser crunches and sweeping LFO textures, all wrapped up in a collection of hard hitting drum punches, topped with a fine vocal lead from SK.

The pair have hit the nail on the head with this new link up, which we are thrilled to have as a new addition to the 3000 Bass catalogue.

The prolific @djjayrobinson is back with his 5th Night Bass EP, a next level four-tracker that pushes his sound forward. “The Return” kicks off with the title track, a chunky uplifting bass house stomper. Jay gets help from Bristol badman @dreadmc on the heavy bass driven song “The Ripper”. The quirky and techy “Falling Upwards” brings a nice dark edge, and “The Melodic Weapon” rounds out the EP on an uplifting note.

Five years and 99 EPs later, the ‘One Hundred’ Album is here at last. To celebrate, we brought together legendary purveyors of @NightBassRecords music for a unique blend of genres that culminate into one expertly crafted 9-track release. Label boss @ACSlater lights the torch with ‘Big Loud Heavy Bass’ - a track that speaks true to its name. @Chris-Lorenzo-1 keeps the big bass energy up with ‘Dash’, a certified club-banger that bounces seamlessly into the long-awaited Spicy Noodles VIP mix, courtesy of @Flava_D. A refreshingly melodic intro comes through on @Shift-Key’s ‘Ragz’, before descending into a shape-shifting bassline drop, paving the way for @Taiki-Nulight-uk’s musically diverse “Kush”, with the iconic Dread MC’s vocals. After that we have @djJayRobinson & @Jack-Beat’s ‘Hustler’, a stunning mix of each of their synth-laden bouncy sounds, that send you into the tinkering synth riffs on @Petey-Clicks' ‘Ugly’, an energetic number that’ll keep your feet shuffling into the next track, @Sinden’s ‘Work That’. This house number hits heavy from the start with a nice mix of vocal samples and a bumpin’ house beat.
