For those unaware of the concept of the Round Up: Each artist that released on Heist in 2020 gets to remix another artist from that year. This year, there's the feel-good festival vibes on Crackazat remix of ‘Dakar Disco’ and the rolling tech goodness of Kassian’s remix of Nebraska’s bonkers track ‘Dip & Flip’. Pitto takes an excursion into deep dubbed out house with his remix of Kassian’s ‘8th Movement’ and Nebraska goes for a UK house meets US garage meets Christopher Walken’s cowbell solo on his remix of ‘Move out the way’ by Dam Swindle. The label heads take on their house stabs with their atmospheric and pumping remix of Teleseen’s ‘Dekalb’, while the latter goes for a worldly approach with his remix of ‘Discko’ by Pitto. There’s also the superb Detroit house approach from Scan 7 with their remix of Crackazat’s ‘Class one’, and we hear Alma Negra adding some vocal and synth layers to the gospel house of Scan7’s killer track ‘All for me’.

On Sunday September 6, 2015 we had the honor of playing what is arguably the best party that our city has to offer - 718 Sessions.  Danny Krivit and Sting International had the main room of Santos Party House rocking while the downstairs level featured special guests, birthday girl, Forward Disco and 718 favorite, Rissa Garcia and Forward Disco residents Sean Cormac and Chili Davis.  This was an incredibly special evening for us, and we cannot thank Danny, Benny Soto and Rissa enough for the opportunity.  Here is Chili's closing set.

Read the instructions carefully prior to use. After the success of ‘Lene’s Theme’ EP back in July, that was heavily supported throughout the major music platforms and radios including a remarkable fourth spot in Traxsource Deep House Top 10 and a featured in Defected Radio Show, the Leipzig based producer Erik Ellmann returns to PiM with his fourth EP to date on the label. This one is called ‘Somebody Else’. 

The formula is the same as the last EP and is very simple: three tremendous disco cuts with a same drum loop, but each one with a different soul and a catchy groove. Listening to this EP may cause your desires to dance to strongly go up like the vaccine stocks after a worldwide pandemic.

NightChild Records is a digital house label based in NYC that is looking to present artists with a unique vision and sound. Striving to bring to the public all forms of House music, NightChild will not concentrate on one single genre but all genres within the underground-house realm.

NightChild Records was started in 2007 with the goal of releasing House music of all styles and beyond without the artistic constraints of the sometimes rigid market and allowing their artists complete artistic freedom. After they released their debut EP, NightChild began to sign music from such local New York City talents like Markos, Rob Regan, Pat King, Ariel"lights"Figueroa and more.They gained positive feedback from each release along with some being featured on digital retailer best seller charts. In 2009, NightChild Records started signing new artists to provide an even a broader range of sound to the label from abroad. When asked how they go about choosing the music and artists they sign, they answered simply “we love good music and artists with passion and vision, there really isn’t much more to it then that.” They have had success with support from heavy weights such as Peace Division, DJ Vibe, DJ Sneak, Radio Slave, Tedd Patterson, Louie Vega, Danny Tenaglia,Demarkus Lewis and Danny Krivit just to name a few. With NightChild going strong on their releases and artists developing on every record, it’s not hard to see why they’re so relentless on keeping the music and their vision at its core.
