The Spanish duo, also known as JNJS, have been busy working away on the third release for the label. SVDR3 is primed and ready to hit the record shelves in the coming weeks.

Following a chance meeting at Pikes in Ibiza, the two artists have gone on to form a strong friendship which has developed into something even more fruitful. Swiss label FreeLife cruise in to 2023 with their first release of the year by innovative beat maker, Lost.Act. The “Cabaret” EP traverses between slick minimal moods with a touch of house class, two originals and a remix from label founder, Gianluca Felline. 

 First up is title track “Cabaret”, constructed upon tight drum grooves, and warm bass movements. Trippy elements breathe life in to the hypnotic force of the track. Gianluca’s remix addresses a glitchy territory, the hi-hats take the wheel, moving the dance floor up a gear. The vocal samples flashing in and out give a pure essence to the almost 7 minute trip. “Backwords” takes things in a more stripped back direction, teasing in curious movements as the track continues to develop throughout with the intelligent loop arrangements. Pensive sounds for the hazy hours of the morning. 

Further beautiful output from a label on the rise, becoming an essential catalogue for the tastemakers amongst us. Landing March 2023.
