Octave and Lucide mix their production styles together for the chemical reaction that is SVRSR006. On ‘Yin’, the duo combine for an uplifting jaunt. ‘Yin’ puts the drums to work with simple but effective brushes, claps and snaps that energize the production and craft a suitable groove around the funky bass line. On ‘Yang’, the pair work with the keys, chimes and melodies giving the track a bright and colourful tone, as though daylight were creeping through the windows of a haunted house. Octave and Lucide have partnered up to provide another set of dreamy minimal groovers for the SVR catalogue.
