After the House and Techno Breaks provided by Hector Ram in the second release of the label (SA002), The Ram Fam are now given the task of bringing together artists with a long history in the classic House scene, as well as very active and constantly growing names within the underground, resulting in a 4-track ‘VA’ full of Deep House that promises a fidelity to the roots of the sound of this genre.

From electro bass lines and deep soulful atmospheres to harmonic piano keys, the work and passion of the artists Boo Williams, Kai Alcé, Owen Jay, Melchior Sultana and Hector Ram fit together in a perfect sense of mutual influences for the SA003.

Boo William's 'Transformation' is a smooth and chord-laced house roller that has a more reflective vibe than his usual party-starting offerings. Atlanta don Kai Alce's 'Love Exists' is a heartfelt house romance then the long-time partnership of Owen Jay & Melchior Sultana douse us in star-gazing chords on 'Soul Expression' that leave you feeling refreshed. Low Recordings welcomes Glo Phase with a hazy & dreamy journey through sound.

 The EP kicks off with "Left Bank," immersing the listener in a dreamy, hazy sonic landscape. Drifting bass lines, subtly evocative keys reminiscent of sirens, a gentle kick, and a grounded snare keep us swaying and grooving as the track unfolds. Suddenly, a flourish of keys, an echoed clap, and a delicate vocal embellishment remind us that there's much more to explore in this evolving world that Glo Phase meticulously crafts. These flourishes are the signature elements that define the unique universe he's constructing for us.

 Next, he leads us into a fresh auditory realm titled "Ancient Shift." The droning sounds persist throughout the track, with keys, bassline, and drum beats shining through, playfully inviting our ears to engage with them. This seamlessly paves the way to the closing track of "Hidden Harbor."

 "Hidden Harbor" serves as the perfect exit from Glo Phase's crafted world. It exudes subtlety, and the steady beat of the kick drum provides an impeccable segue out of the immersive realm he's built. The keys gently ebb and flow until they bid us a gradual farewell.

Southbound Sounds, a musical duo hailing from Cork, Ireland, known for their captivating deep house and techno compositions that have garnered recognition from prominent figures like Fish Go Deep, Chez Damier, Norm Talley, Delano Smith, Stuart Patterson, Mark Farina, and more, present an EP paying tribute to the legendary figure of Detroit, Mike Huckaby.Titled "Educator," this release, available on Deeper Groove Recordings in November, features three original tracks and a remix courtesy of another talented Irish artist, John Daly.The EP's titular track embarks on a profound journey into the realm of deep house, skillfully incorporating samples of Mike Huckaby's voice, where he shares, "First of all, I'm a DJ, producer, sound designer, and educator."
