After setting the tone with “Where Is The Moon?” — the sweeping opener of the “In Orbit” series featuring The Velvet Effect — Joe Ford and Task Horizon return for the second chapter of their collaboration project - ‘In Orbit’. This time, they welcome one of Evolution Chamber’s most exciting additions and the pioneer of the Neurogoth movement, Ekwols, to deliver a track that signals a bold shift in energy: “Sunfall.”

Since joining the label in 2023, Ekwols has quickly become a standout name within the Evolution Chamber roster. Known for his immersive atmospheres, raw emotion, and signature punk-like vocal work, a collaboration with either Joe Ford or Task Horizon was always a matter of time — but bringing all three together makes “Sunfall” feel like a moment.

The track begins with an almost elemental stillness, waking gradually through organic textures and gentle ambience. Ekwols’ vocals creep in with a sense of anticipation, heightening the tension of each 16 bar section before dropping into a kinetic, unfiltered barrage of thunderous drums and snarling reece basses. His vocals remain woven through the chaos, adding an emotional thread to the heaviness below. The intensity is undeniable, but so is the detail — every element throughout the track is engineered to showcase each producer’s individual strengths while serving a shared vision.

“Sunfall” stands in sharp contrast to its predecessor, underlining the adaptability and range of the series. Future of Hollows is a descent through dystopia - a chronicle of collapse in four movements.

It begins with Future, where the world teeters on the edge of ruin. Dissonant bells ring like omens, foretelling a time of horror, decay, and irreversible silence. Hope is buried under ash.

Phyrgian follows - a mournful voice rising from scorched earth. The rhythm of poverty, the cry of forgotten lands, wrapped in Middle Eastern tonality and violent bass surges. A landscape where time decays, and humanity clings to remnants of meaning.

Then comes The Signal. A sound from beyond the stars pierces the skies. It’s not human. It’s not friendly. The alien presence is undeniable. Are they answering a call… or bringing the end? Reality fractures. The earth listens.

And at the end: The Sense. A fragile melody emerges from the debris - soft, distant, and shimmering. Is it the beginning of something new, or the final dream before extinction?

No answers are given. Only silence - and the sense that something still breathes in the dark.

He'd sought mastery over his being, battling the primordial shadows that threatened to consume even the most steadfast. But the ultimate technique, a forbidden power whispered of in hushed tones by long-dead mystics, promised absolute triumph at the cost of his very essence. The distant chants of the acolytes, the rhythmic clang of the armory, all seemed to amplify the burgeoning chaos within. A tremor shook the fortified walls-not seismic, but Kaelen himself. Pressure intensified, veins like thunderous rivers beneath his hardened plates. A guttural roar of horrific liberation tore from his throat. His eyes, once stoic, now burned with an infernal, raw energy. The very air distorted. In an age to come, the being would wake again, consuming the distant ancestors of the life that it had now born into existence. For the current age, its duty had been fulfilled - the cycle of DIVERGENCE had been carried out once more.
