NCR009 Adam Stacks - Mindset EP

Adam Stacks hails from Mannheim, Germany, and is relatively new to the music production scene, yet has launched with a bang, and his music is supported by DJs of the techno and house scene like Maya Jayne Coles, Dirty Doering, Slam, AKA AKA, DJ Shir Khan and Olivier Schories to name a few.

Here, his Mindset EP starts with 'Loving You', and this sunshine kissed summer gem oozes warmth from the off. Piano lines, big pads and the vocal gel wonderfully in a big smile inducing cuddle of a track. Ibiza anybody?

Neferiel is up first on remix duties, with his previous work on LOKD, Traum Schallplatten, as well as Adam Stacks Beans & Bacon imprint made him perfectly suited for the job. This remix utilises the subtleness of the original, but takes us deeper, with an air of restrain caressing this tasty rework

The second original track 'Campanula' is next, and its a bit of a biggie, with its powerful synths creating an uplifting, yet slightly melancholic edged chord pattern with descending riff that is full of emotion. 

And remixing Campanula we have Beatamines, whos work on Einmusika, Great Stuff and Click has been causing a fuss. This remix takes things gritter and phatter, with its tougher reinterpretation that works nicely on the package giving an alternative slant.
