For this mix project, I recorded two mixes from the same stack of vinyl records.  All records in the stack were used for both mixes, but different tracks from the records were selected for each mix creating two different listening experiences.

This approach gives each mix a distinct character since the selected tracks are completely different, however they share stylistic genetics, having come from the same vinyl records and being a product of the same artists and labels.
