What better way to mark the 20th anniversary of Tronic, his forward-thinking label, than creating a new artist album? Christian Smith stands out as one of the worlds leading exponents of inventive, diverse techno and Stranger Than Paradise continues his enthralling, ever-evolving musical journey with aplomb. The fact that Tronic is one of the Top 5 selling techno labels in the world is a mark of a man who stands for nothing less than pure quality. 
Having previously released benchmark, critically acclaimed LPs Omakase (2013) and Directors Cut (2010) Christian Smith is no stranger to creating supreme, danceoor orientated albums, that explore and showcase his diverse musical style. Both as a DJ and producer, he is always innovative and bold, a leader not a follower. 
Alongside the jaw-dropping excellence of the solo tracks, this new album also features dynamic, inventive collaborations with Wehbba (Christians great friend and regular collaborator), the New York based house music legend Cevin Fisher, long-time studio collaborator John Selway (of Smith &amp; Selway fame), and Christians childhood friend and hip-hop artist Arcturus Ra. 
The Stranger Than Paradise album project will be unveiled rst as four singles released at weekly intervals through the month of October, with the full album release following in the rst week of November on 12 vinyl and digital formats. An album remix pack will be released in December.

After a couple of releases on Cocoon Recordings, Skryptöm, Plus8 Rec, Minus & Form Music, he is about to release his third Masterpiece EP on Popofs imprint. With Meteorite Ep, Julian introduces and perfectly mixes techno textures with powerful basslines, crazy synths, insane grooves and mental backgrounds.

After we were already blown away by db-Maui’s first Broque EP, he’s now outdoing himself with ‘From PM to AM’. The new EP is just as versatile as ‘Die Sterne und das Unicorn’, while combining very different influences to create a representative tour through the dynamics of a good club night. This calls for functional dancefloor compatibility but also gives plenty of space for blissful hands-in-the-air moments. ‘This Feeling’ is the poppy centrepiece of the EP, which immediately embraces you with its catchy hook and warm vocals, and in terms of crossover appeal, is on a par with the likes of Caribou and Daft Punk. The Midnight Remix has a more masculine sound that heads straight for the dancefloor and focuses on the essence of the track, while the more percussive Late Night Remix beams you right into the peaktime hours. The opener ‘Low Sin’ also combines catchy hooks with a highly functional club sound, while ‘Your Smile’ sends you into the after hours with warm deepness over focused and percussive beats. This EP has everything one expects of a good night at the club plus a good portion of radio appeal for the time in between the weekends.

So last week I went to the Free Your Mind festival in Arnhem where Seth Troxler played, which was quite the inspiring event. My friend explained the me the concept of "camel techno". Which is when you're dancing it feels like you could be on the back of a camel just bouncing back and fort (in a good way!). So based on that this rolled out today. Back on Senso Sounds with another amazing release following the Scoop EP, Neither Nor are showcasing the best of their signature sound.  Key players in the Antalya techno and electronic scene, the boys have built a solid following internationally via a string of releases and key support from luminaries such as Charlotte de Witte.  
Here they present the Reverlasting EP, featuring 2 versions of the title track and two of Underneath. In their own words, with Reverlasting they “wanted to explore how to shift the intense bass structure to different accents within the track, crafting a groove that’s both dynamic and perfectly suited for the dance floor. With tight and punchy drums anchoring the beat, the tracks naturally came together, and when they were finished, there was only one person we wanted to send them to: Oliver Huntemann.” 
Underneath is a project that dates back to 2021, and foreshadows these releases on Senso. “It was an exciting moment because the track felt exactly like what we wanted to create now. After making some minor technical adjustments and adding a lead in the breakdown, it finally reached its full potential,” they said.
