This mix is the first I’ve been able to record at home since I moved to Wales over 10 years ago! New DJ toys and a space to do it in is a wonderful thing and has given me renewed energy doing something I love. This selection of tunes has a few new ones that have caught my ear recently, some of my personal favourites and lots of older forgotten nuggets… Expect to hear quite a few of these at Campo Sancho, our small but perfectly formed festival at the end of July. Hour of Light is hosted by Ahu, Istanbul-based cult singer, DJ and songwriter.
This month Ahu is joined by Pierre-Alexandre Busson aka Yuksek, French dj, singer, songwriter and composer. Yuksek has released four albums of his own and did many remixes & collaborations including Gorillaz, Moby, The Prodigy, Phoenix, Bertrand Burgalat and many more. He also produces soundtracks for films and series. On this months show Ahu plays her favourite tracks from him and Yuksek plays a dj set that reflects his love of brazilian, disco and house music.

Hola a todxs!! So happy to be back to Brasil after my amazing first experience playing at Mareh last year. In this stay in Sao Paulo, I had the pleasure to play at @garagedisco which was one for the books, and I'm happy to have shared such a special night with this amazing crew. Apart from also playing at Exotica Dance Club with my good friend @kurc and Caracol Bar. Fell in love with this incredible city.

Luckily, the guys from Garage Disco recorded my set, so here it is! 

Some good old classics and some new stuff too, made up for a great and sweaty night ender. Real vibe and big smiles on everyone's faces <3
