I’ve always appreciated the emotional drive accompanied by thick percussive sounds in Odesza’s music.  After being contacted by them to remix All We Need, I instantly got to work; Here's what I came up with after finishing it a few months ago. today we release our first ever official EP, from an up-and-coming artist named luxior. this is a two-track EP and one of the things that makes it really sweet is that he produced these songs using the website audiotool.com! if you are unaware of what audiotool is, it's a free production program that is used online and can be a great tool for people who want to work on music while they're at school or something like that, and it is also a great community of it's own artists, as well as having the capability of easily collaborating on projects with other artists.

it is quite impressive to hear the work that luxior is able to create using audiotool, for various reasons: one of those reasons being that you cannot use any external/third-party VSTs, among other reasons.

luxior has grown his name a bit in the world of audiotool, but is definitely still on the rise and unheard-of to many people. we are hoping to help him grow as an artist and grow his following on soundcloud, because he is extremely talented and surely will be releasing more and more great music in the future!

in these two songs, "200th Floor", and "Jordan", you can definitely hear some influence from artists like Herzeloyde, but it would be unfair to compare luxior to anyone else because he truly does have his own unique style.
