Spanish producer Niko Freij and Ecuadorian artist Cali (EC) join forces to deliver a nasty combination of their respective signature sounds. With a combined track record releasing on labels like Be One, Wyldcard, Huambo, Habitat and more - we felt an appearance on the Tech Avenue catalogue was warranted and welcome. Both tracks are filled with a high energy and rich low ends that we've come to expect from both artists. The title track "Funky 90's" was remixed by a stellar lineup of artists, including Hitta, Tyler.Ryyan, Cuevas (ES) and Arzenic. We see a bright future ahead of all these artists and welcome them with open arms.

Established in 2015 as the label’s educational arm, the Academy exists to break down the barriers between new artists and the electronic music industry via cutting-edge music education and mentorship.
