" Without You" opens with a sexy runway introduction, our emphasis was to bring the empowering feeling that our fanbase loved from "Basic" For the second half of the record we wanted to bring forth a passionate performance that tells a story of how it feels after a break up with someone you shared special memories with. Both of us experienced heartbreak from relationships that sculpted us as musicians and this is our story of love " Without You "

Goodbye is a future base ballad driven by piano and the sad overtones of a love story. Followed by a massive chorus drop that comes in and creates a feeling of resolution.

I wrote this because I lost a relationship to prioritizing my career in music. Finding comfort in a black hole type of feeling which led me into dishonesty and detaching from a certain someone. “ In The Wind ” is about moving on after losing the first love of your life and not being able to rewind time but finding your new self in the process.
