Bio:
Gayle's first steps into the London clubs were via DJing at record company parties, various one-off guest spots and fashion shows. These slots soon led to Gayle being made resident at 'Reach for the Sky' at London's Limelight club, where she played alongside global DJs which Gayle describes as "the steepest learning curve possible". Having honed her DJing skills and broadened her understanding of music, Gayle began to experiment with the harder side of dance music, particularly the lesser known techno sounds coming into Britain from Europe and the US of that time. Her chance to pioneer this music in England came when Gayle became resident at Universe's legendary Final Frontier club, at Club U.K. in south London, which then moved on to become Universe Voyager at their new club, the Complex in north London,and she was also resident at all the Tribal Gatherings Festivlas. Final frontier was widely regarded as one of the best club nights in the world, it was not long before Gayle had amassed a following of techno pilgrims who would make journeys from as far as Edinburgh to hear her play. Gayle's reputation of her 3 decks mixing skills and dj sets spread like wildfire over the techno centres of Europe, most notably a residency once a month at the legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, the socalled 'Mecca of techno' that opened doors.Other European and American dates have included some of the most underground clubs in the world,from playing at high profile parties for Prince,Chaka Khan and Kylie minogue to name a few, to playing clubs like Bionic in Detroit, Pure Pleasure parties in Chicago, Soma in Montreal, Twilo in New York, Zouk Club in Singapore, Florida 135 in Spain, Fuse Club in Belgium,M47 in Hungary and many more all over Europe ,South America and the U.S.A. In 2000 she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany. Remaining in the top ten list has been a regularity ever since. In regards to the massive competition of the worlds DJs,and to be the only female dj in the top ten, it was an honour of her hard work in the last years. DJing has naturally led to various studio work and starting her own label Equator. Gayle has developed a sound that takes the intelligent beats of the underground, funky/hard/groove techno sound mixed with her very own style.Gayle loves producing on her own but also enjoys collaborations with other producers to absorb outside creativity. She has released on numerous labels throughout europe .Gayle has reduced her touring dates in the last 2 years,not surprising after travelling the world for 18 years to make more time for her production /collaboration works.Gayle never fails to rock the world..s dancefloor with her mixing skills and her choice of music .Gayle has already been called the best female techno legend and she is not ready to hang up her headphones just yet.

Bio:
For the first time in 2002 october26 he had the opportunity to play at Independence party series in the Budapest-based Kashmir Underground under the name G-Rock. However the real break-through was in year 2004 when the name Killswitch and the legendary hard techno party series New Generation of Hard Techno was born.

In the same year Killswitch met Reset, and they started making music together. Thanks to the many positive feedbacks they sent their first work "Dirty Sweaty" to 
legendary techno icon DJ Rush, who kept asking for more and more tracks from the hungarian duo, he played many of these on major parties and festivals world wide. As a result they caught many labels' attention including Sven Wittekind's Inflicted Records, which gave them the opportunity to release their first album. Later on they released their second album in Tobias Lüke aka O.B.I.'s Tekktribe.

His career as a producer, organizer and dj was at the highest, he played practically in all major hungarian clubs (Highlander, Alcatraz, Zenit, etc.), and he also had the opportunity to play in Hungary's one of the greatest electronic music event Mayday in 2005 and 2007.

Year 2006 had brought also huge success for him as he could perform for huge crowds beyond hungarian borders. After the first gigs he and Reset was invited to DJ Ocram's booking agency called Combat Skill, where they were not only counted as DJ's but Ocram also released two of their tracks.
In 2007 he created his own label called NGOHT RECORDS which is the one and only hungarian hard techno label that released vinyls.

He played in countries such as Holland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Checz Republic, Poland, Austria, in major festivals like Defqon 1 (Holland), Decibel Outdoor (Holland), Cloud 9 (Holland), Mayday (Budapest), Code (Spain), Montagood (Spain), H2Zone (Spain), Apokalypsa (czech Republic), Woodshock (Slovenia), Renesanz (Bulgaria).
In 2009 hard techno seemed to reach its peak, that's why they decided to finish the legendary NGOHT party series since without having motivation in hard techno they did not want to repeat themselves and play the same old tunes over and over again.
All in all with the end of NGOHT Killswitch finished his career as well, and after leaving the world of hard techno behind he decided to continue searching for his very own tunes and sounds and until that his work shall continue under his alterego named Bamse without any boundaries in the electronic music scene.

Bio:
Mario had his first experiences with music during his childhood days. He played the piano and received influences in electronical music through his cousin who looked after him. Mario made musical experiments with his computer and created his first technotracks. At the end of grammar-school he started to work and bought his first real synthesizer, and after some time got more and more equipment. He went on to now produce more professionally which was important for him. He is today Austria's most famous hardtechno-producer and dj and continues to release innovative music on his labels Schubfaktor, Schlagwerx, Vernacular, Ostarrichi and Girlpower and on other labels such as Fon, Lifeform, Artillery, Abstract, Highball, Carnage, Subsounds, Friendly Fire, Tausendgroove and Tekktribe. Mario's great dj sets are as hard to categorize. Just like his tracks, they go from groovy house, to stomping hardtechno, punky hardcore and crazy noise. Overall he spreads a very positive vibe. He connects a lot of different styles and is unique in his own genre.

Tavaly előtt Szeptember végén megnyitotta kapuit a KraftLab, Debrecen legmenőbb közösségi alkotótere, ahol az érdeklődő fiatalok a Telekom támogatásával bátran kísérletezhetnek egy egyedi digitális eszközparkban.

A céljuk az volt, hogy a KraftLab egy olyan központi hely legyen, ahol a fiatalok kreativitása új erőre kaphat, ahol kipróbálhatják magukat a fiatalok olyan területeken is, amire eddig nem volt lehetőségük. Ahol kockázat nélkül kísérletezhetnek, és akár karrierjüket is elindíthatják.
Valódi közösségi alkotótérré vált az elmúlt másfél évben a KratLab. Egy modern zenei stúdióval bővítették a kínálatot és idén március 11.-én megnyitotta kapuit a Music Lab, a Kraft Lab legújabb szobáját. ​​​​​​​

Ebben a szobában volt lehetőségem egy több, mint két és fél órás ízig-vérig techno szettet készíteni, amit szombaton este 19:00 órától követhettek!

Bio:
He started his career like thousands of self-appointed DJs all over the world. By collecting cassettes, he started to go out to clubs to study how the 'good olds' doing their job. He got his first possibility to spin because of an illness, he had to play instead the Angyal bar's (not the same as today's Angyal bar) resident DJ.

In 1990 he was the runner-up of the hungarian DMC. While the promoters started to invite him to play in clubs, the first 'only techno' club in the country, Hysteria, opened it's doors. During the year he became invited into Siofok's primary club, to Flört, where he set the sound of the club. In 1994 a huge step of Hungary's dance scene became organized. It was X-Mas Mayday. DJ Budai and his mates became invited, and this invitaion was followed by numerous others. In the spring of 1995 a new electronic music club has been opened, called Dark Side. The industrial club became the new residency of DJ Budai. In that year's summer they organised the trendsetter Stüssy Boat Party on Lake Balaton. Boat parties are still the summers' exclusive happenings. In the end of 1995, from Dark Side he moves his residency to Budapest's new club, E-Play. This time, he and some of his friends established FREEE Magazin, the first Hungarian Dance and Club Magazine.

In 1997 he released his first mix CD, the retrospective Techno-House Classics Of '93-96. Labels in Hungary started to realize that it's well worth to release uncompromising DJ mixes. DJ Budai started to write music and made remixes for several artists. In 1997 Silvervoice awarded him in the ‘DJ of the Year' category. He usually played on top events as Hyperspace, Sziget Festival, Budapest Parádé Bonus, Mayday. In 1999 he released DJ Mix 2, which's progressive sound makes his fans amazed again and again. He usually spins in Austria, Germany, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Serbia. In 2000 he released his new mix CD, Techno-Logic Vol. 1, which has a brand new concept again. By releasing mix CD-s he started to produce his own music in 1999. His first tries were remixes, but with his first own music, Let's Just Go For It, he established his career as a producer as well. Three of his works together with Ferry had been released on the nederlander label Pro. Csepp a Tengerben, which contains some samplings from Hungarian top pop act Jazz+Az, got some places on several international DJs' charts.

In the summer of 2002 Underground Records has published his new double mix CD („2002”) with a couple of his own musics on it. „2002” became the top seller mixed album of the year of 2002. On the summer of 2002 he and his friends started to organize Hungary's first ever deep house party serie I Love Deep. The events became a top night in Budapest and still going it. In the fall of 2004 he released a DVD plus a new mixed album called „Live – Funky-Techno Roadmovie” which covered a tour in picture and sound. The movie had been shot on various locations including Hungary, Slovakia, USA, Ukraine. Highlighting events from Sziget Festival, Budapest Parade, Sullivan Room and Larchmont from the USA plus various great events. Budai's last CD was released by Foundation Records. “I Love Deep 01 – Mixed By Budai” is focusing on I Love Deep Events and I Love Deep Records. The popular event series is the residency for Budai and that is the only event where he playing house regularly.

In the spring of 2005 Egotraxx founded it's new sublabel I Love Deep. The label has got many positive feedback since its start. After the first release the tracks of ILD artists appear more frequently in respected names' charts and mixes. I Love Deep is focusing on the deeper but very danceable side of house music. The label runs its own clubnight, the only deep house event in Budapest, Hungary. I Love Deep just won the „Clubnight Of The Year” award on the annual Partycom.hu E-Vote 2005 Awards.

Budai and Vic met in 2000 and decided to produce tracks together and create an independent label to release them by themselves. They used to make groovy tracks that contain the funk and a positive vibe, happiness, but still built on a strong rhythm. In the end of 2001, they founded Egoist Records (now Egotraxx Records) with ex-Sonic Age member Vic. The label started with a massive groundbreaking tribal-tech release called 'Ma Macoosa' EP, and since then they keep this level as well. The label which is in its fourth year has got many positive feedback since its start. After the 12th vinyl and many international releases, the tracks of EGO artists appear more frequently in big names' charts and mixes. The labelsound is a solid fusion between tribalistic looptechno and groovy mediterranean sounds, but all of this with the characteristic Ego-flavour. Egotraxx is focusing on the soulful side of techno and tech-house. Maybe that is the reason that the label got lots of playtime from Djs like Carl Cox, Umek, Dj Preach, or Valentino Kanzyani. Ego Traxx Records is now over of its 15th release with a massive Markantonio remix. Ego Traxx works with names like DJ Preach, Marko Nastic, Alexander Koning, Marcelinho CIC, Daniel D and so on...In the spring of 2005 Egotraxx founded it's new sublabel: I Love Deep Records. The label has got many positive feedback since its start. After the first release the tracks of ILD artists appear more frequently in respected names' charts and mixes. I Love Deep is focusing on the deeper but very danceable side of house music. The label runs its own clubnight, the only deep house event in Budapest, Hungary. I Love Deep just won the „Clubnight Of The Year” award on the annual Partycom.hu E-Vote 2005 Awards. I Love Deep tracks already appeared on various mixed albums and compilations: Ben Watt's Buzzin Fly Vol. 03, Renaissance Presents Nic Fanciulli Vol. 2, The Timewriter's Deep Train 4: Round Trip, Terry Lee Brown Jr.'s Terry's Café 9, DJ Vibe's Global Grooves 03, Zappi's Blue Marlin Ibiza just to name a few. Various remixers featured on the label's releases: The Timewriter, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Jeff Bennett, Lukas Greenberg, has been remixed for ILD. In 2007 Budai mixed and compiled "I Love Deep 01 - Mixed by Budai" via Foundation Records. The I Love Deep album launch tour had 22 stops nationwide. From 2007 September Budai & Vic are hosting a weekly radioshow on justmusic.fm . 

Budai & Vic's productions are not made only for their labels. In 2007 they started to work together with legendary german tech-house label Plastic City. They're not just releasing at Plastic City but they also signed a distribution deal with Plastic City's mother-company Daredo Music for the distribution of I Love Deep and Egotraxx releases. Beside Plastic City they producing and remixing for other labels, like: Adult Records, Fuck Babe, Travels, Picth Records, Analytic Trail, Mainfloor, Teggno, Kazoo, Tech-Head Records.

3RD ANNIVERSARY!

Bio:
A.Paul was born in Lisbon, Portugal in November 1971, and his career started in 1986, although his first contact with music was made at a very early stage, mainly through the hands of his older sister that would regularly listen to disco, funk, and electro sounds in the 70′s. From a music passionate mind, to a national celebrity, A.Paul is today one of the key players of the electronic music scene on a worldwide scale, both as a DJ and as a Producer. His taste, technique and originality made him earn the respect from his peers and most of all the love and devotion from his fans.

After the first years of musical discovery, his talent start to blossom when he was 13, despite living in a country where only a small percentage of people would listen to dance music, he always knew that these infectious rhythms would be on his path. After buying his first decks and mixer, including a couple of years of bedroom practice, he organized a few parties himself and later acquired his first residencies in clubs, through the hand of J.Daniel, who was one of the most respected Portuguese DJs in the 90′s. He was the owner of Question of Time Records, a vanguard record shop and record label, where A.Paul would later release his first record “Juice” a remarkable masterpiece that was played by many top DJs worldwide and licensed to various labels and compilations. He was also invited to be part of the Climacz project, the first after-hours club in Portugal, which was one of the first milestones of his career. The amazing spirit this venue brought to the Portuguese scene is still remembered with great joy and nostalgia by A.Paul himself.

At some point he felt the need to move on and search for new challenges. In 1996, he became part of the Illegal Records project as a techno import manager, was invited to be resident of the best club at that time Kremlin, and later founded his first labels, Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet, which were two relevant projects that helped define and polish his sound. By then he was also already playing quite a lot as freelancer, in a growing market. Portugal was at its peak, in terms of electronic music popularity and A.Paul was playing at one point every weekend on different parts of the country. It was inevitable that he would decide to stick to this option for his career, as opposed to be resident in a club, where he would be more limited in terms of music taste.

In 1997 he joins the X-Club, the most important DJ Agency and party organizer in Portugal. All the top cats were signed to X-Club, and so was A.Paul, first as a supporting artist, and later part of the agency’s top artists too. This period was very important for A.Paul, and his growth was remarkable, because he had the chance to meet and play with all the major techno and house artists in the world. Other projects developed by A.Paul at that time include sound engineering, journalism and also graphic and web design, activities that would become also important on his next projects.

A.Paul was voted best Portuguese techno DJ in 2000, 2001, and 2002 by the readers of Dance Club, the main electronic music media vehicle in Portugal. A.Paul has never stopped investing and supporting the electronic music community particularly in techno. This is when A.Paul decides to start exploring the international market, due to the changes in the Portuguese scene.1994 to 2000 was monumental time after suffering from the huge decline in quality and quantity of events and musical culture. From the “Paradise Called Portugal” coined years before by international media, Portugal was now a place with a stagnated scene, and techno was probably the first genre to suffer. It was time for change, this crisis lead him to invest his time in a music production career, that was quiet for a few years due to the higher demand for DJ previously. In 2001 he opened Genesis record shop. Later in 2007 A.Paul was co-owner of MPC Vinyl Distribution, with his long-time friends Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Michaelangelo, where he also released on his other sub -labels The Light, Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, LK and Xtractz.

In In 2012 A.Paul’s most renowned & most successful project to date is Naked Lunch Records which was created back in 2005 really began to really take mold into one of the driving forces in the techno scene. Naked Lunch Podcast, a weekly podcast, which is a careful balance of top quality underground DJs and the game changers in the techno scene.

Fast forward to 2013, this marked a new monumental moment in A.Paul’s career as a promoter, by the end of the year he had 5 success events under his belt! With the success of the highly acclaimed Naked Lunch Nights in Portugal, its natural step would be to take his events international for 2014, alongside the grand opening of the much anticipated Naked Lunch Agency, the missing puzzle piece to complete his techno vision & one day his legacy.

A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records, several mixed CD compilations released in amazing labels like; Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhyhtm, Italo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, Impact Mechanics, and has remixed artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, Dj Preach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz and many more.

Besides his sound of hard, funky, deep bass lines he is renowned for, he has also been known productions in tech- house, minimal and experimental sounds, under several aliases like Loudon Kleer, Luther Miek, Beat Therapy and LK. and last but not least, he is also known for his co-productions with artists like The Advent, Industrialyzer, Michaelangelo, DJ Slot among others.

His unique sound, taste, and technique, granted him a position on some of the best mega events like; Awakenings, Chateau Techno, TGV (The Netherlands), Evolve (Canada), Nature One, Syndicate, Ruhr in Love (Germany), Rock in Rio (Portugal), Technolandia (Portugal), Aquasella, (Spain), Liberty White (Belgium), Decibel (Holland), Global Vision Festival (France) & Apokalypsa (Czech Republic).
A.Paul has rocked some of the hottest clubs like; Tresor, U60311, Lehmann (Germany), Sullivan Room (USA), Fabrik , Makumba, Row 14, Moog, Industrial Copera (Spain), Perron, Panama, Poema (The Netherlands), Locomia , Rocks, Kremlin, Pacha (Portugal), Qube (Italy), Inox Club (France) & many more.

Bio:
Sebastian was born in 1982. He created his first sets using computer programs. In 1999 he stood behind the gramophones at the Kolonia club in Siedlce. There he played various types of house, ranging from deep to French, tribal and tech house. As time passed he began to seek new musical experiences, which led to the first vinyl releases in Detroit-style techno. His fascination with music and search for new sounds never stopped. Since 2006 he has been active with new ambitious electronics. He prefers the sounds of electro and minimal techno. Proof of his abilities came with his first prize in the M25 club’s (Warsaw) DJ contest, which gave him the opportunity to appear alongside Pier Bucci. Since early 2011, takes an active part in the project Minimal Mix Radio: minimalmix.com. Right now he prefers the sounds of minimal, minimal techno, tech-house, deep, dub, electronic.

Bio:
LxS is a new techno project,started in September 2010,by slovenian well known hard techno dj and producer Damir Ademi aka Lexis.After a time dedicated to create his specific sound,he is now ready to rock.LxS project doesn't consist on only one style,so there are no limitations in a sense of creation for him,that's why he manages to produce different styles of techno,from hardroove to dark techno.

Until the end of this year,his first releases will go out,as he recently finished a rmx for Horacio Cruz, which will be released on a well known Portugeese label Naked Lunch,runned by techno producer APaul,and his first techno vinyl release on a French label called Reactif Records. Soon after the launch of the project,he already performed on some of the most known techno clubs and festivals in Slovenia like ,Dance Revolution,Pleasure,Pulse festival just to name a few.Be sure to follow LxS in future because he will definatelly leave a mark on the scene.

Több év után végre itt a Black Magic mixsorozat 11. része! Ez a közel kétórás utazás a klasszikus techno és hardgroove világába kalauzol, szépen felépítve a sötétebb, hipnotikus részeket és a pörgős, bulizós energiákat.

A válogatás ezúttal is csak bakelitről szól, mert számomra a DJ-zés még mindig ezt jelenti – a kézzel fogható zenét, a lemezek pörgését, azt a nyers, analóg hangzást, amit semmi más nem ad vissza. Manapság talán már boomer dolognak számít, de én továbbra is hiszek ebben az érzésben.

Ezért előkerestem a régi nagy kedvenceimet, hogy újra megosszam őket azokkal, akik még mindig értékelik ezt a világot.

Black Magic 11 – Another Chapter in the Magic of Vinyl

After several years, the 11th installment of the Black Magic mix series is finally here! This nearly two-hour journey takes you through the world of classic techno and hardgroove, carefully building up from darker, hypnotic sections to high-energy, party-driven vibes.

Once again, this selection is played entirely from vinyl because, to me, DJing is still about this—the tangible feel of music, the spinning records, and that raw, analog sound that nothing else can truly replicate. Maybe it’s considered a boomer thing these days, but I still believe in this experience.

That’s why I dug out some of my all-time favorites to share them once more with those who still appreciate this world.

Steam Shape (HU) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 96 pt.4

Bio.: The Budapest based techno duo, SveTec & Nils, has taken a long journey until their current alias as Steam Shape.

Both of them coming from a musical background, they turned from the piano to the decks quite early in 2003. Their obsession to the electronic music scene was increasing from the first time as they experienced its true spirit.

They started their joint venture in the year 2005, when they decided to launch an event series, which would give them the possibility to express their musical vision on a regular basis. During the years their passion and talent emerged into one cohesive musical project in which they could play together several times.

In 2007 they decided to experience different musical pathways. In this important term both of them gained success of their own goals as they played in the most important and determining venues in Hungary and abroad as well. Their contribution to the local scene was always remarkable, which was an important part in order to rebuild its strong basis.

Although their sound has continuously evolved during their career, they always remained true to their roots. As a result, they found the year 2012 a perfect timing to reunion and set in a long lasting new venture, where they can apply all of their practical experiences that shaped them.

Through some productive studio sessions, in 2014 they prepared their new sounding tracks, which have received promising feedbacks from all across the scene. In the same year they released their first EP, called ‘Boundless’ on Driving Forces Recordings.

In their DJ sets they are aiming extraordinary performance with 4 CDJs, 2 mixers and loads of external gadgets in order to provide their unique dynamics and powerful sounding. Their style was influenced by techno from the beginnings. They keep up with the newest changes but at the meantime their music retains their original style. As the result of professional precision, strict selection and sorting, and vigorous dynamics there is a unique sound of their mixes.

This Podcast had been planned for ages, but Sade Rush only founded it in October 2011, in iTunes. It followed by extensive organizing work. First it came out with own mixes, since it have been coming out 2-times in a month with own and famous dj's mixes too from all over the world, containing fresh techno music, like the Australian DJ HI-Shock, the English Tom Laws, the American Dylan Drazen, and the Hungarian GabeeN and Monocraft's mixes. The aim of this Podcast is to show something new and fresh 2-times in a month, sometimes returning to the roots, reminding us this way for the beauty of Techno music. The Podcast was very successful, and it became accessible on www.technoradio.hu (unfortunately this radio ends) too, near iTunes. In February 2012 The Podcast moved to the Hungarian Techno lover’s site www.techno.hu, next to famous radio shows like Umek's Behind the Iron Curtain, Marco Bailey's Electronic Force, Alex Bau's Wasabi Tunes, Tom Hades' Rhythm Convertered, Dr. Hoffmann's Blind Spot, Chris Liebing's CLR and Mike Humphries' Mastertraxx. At the same month, the past shows became available on Mixcloud too, spreading the love of techno, but the most important thing is the NVT Podcast can give us hope, that it can able to rouse the Hungarian Techno scene.
