Lost My Way Home is a cinematic, dark-but-hopeful duet of sensibilities: Lois Powell’s intimate indie-folk vocal and Night Wolf’s mood-driven production. It opens in a hush like piano, close-miked breath, and a fine veil of strings, before a gritty trip-hop beat lands mid-way, widening the frame without breaking its confessional core. The result feels like a night drive that finally finds the lights of home.
Originally from the Herts/Beds border and now based in Norfolk, Lois writes and performs with unguarded vulnerability, a voice championed by BBC Introducing for its delicacy and truth. Night Wolf, UK producer, sound designer and engineer , builds story-first soundscapes across cinematic Trip Hop and ambient work, with credits spanning Netflix, Channel 4, Sky, MLB, NFL and a growing body of indie releases. Together, they keep the production restrained, piano and strings carry memory and longing, the mid-song beat switch adds grit, motion and resolve.
On stage the song lands hard, quiet dynamics, then lift off making it a strong centrepiece for intimate sets or full-band shows. On screen it reads immediately sync-ready. Themes of distance, return and fragile hope suit drama, prestige docs, character-driven games and titles sequences alike. The duo are actively seeking reviews, radio support, concert/festival slots and sync opportunities.
