My absolute favorite song from Ghibli from my absolute favorite movie from Ghibli.

This movie was Miyazaki's masterpiece. Each frame of the film was purposely crafted to be able to hang up on your wall as an art piece.

I hope y'all enjoy my remix. I hope I did it justice.

I remember playing this game as a kid, and sometimes I would start it up just to listen to that banger of an intro theme.

I’ve always wanted to remake the theme in a faithful way, but still give it some extra energy and put my own lil’ personal twist on it.

There is something particularly special regarding the sound chip used for the C64. I feel as if that specific style is distinct and can be recognized as the SID sound chip almost immediately.

My intentions were to utilize my sound design abilities to replicate the sounds produced by the SID chip. I did this to keep it in the same style in order to give me more freedom to take creative liberties,  without taking away the original spirit of this otherworldly theme song.

After 50 total grueling (but fun nonetheless) hours working on doing this from the ground up, it is officially done.
