"Right And Wrong" is about the complexity of passion. When we are truly enamored, we look at our lovers with a combination of reverence and fear. A relationship has the ability to make each of us feel joy and ecstasy, but also doubt and humiliation. musically, "Right And Wrong" is a minor blues with a grimy baritone sax line and swirling 808 drums. It has a sultry, swampy feel, but also bounces like a modern trap song. The gritty, reverb drenched vocal evokes classic blues records, and responsive background vocals are reminiscent of Ray Charles' Raylettes. The result is consistent with Caught a Ghost's reputation for capturing the mysterious energy of classic soul, but finding a way to push boundaries with new sonic combinations.
