Ontario native Nigel Good has emerged in recent years as one of the most beloved talents on Silk's roster. The emotive (often euphoric) melodies, electro-tinged grooves, and ethereal textures in his tracks have captivated house, progressive, and trance progressive fans alike, as well as captured the attention of many globally renowned international DJs, from Above & Beyond to Porter Robinson. Thanks to the generous support of the international community, he has reached the top of the charts on Beatport on various occasions in both the Progressive House and Trance genres this past year.

With tremendous enthusiasm, Silk Royal presents "Nothing Out Here", Nigel's debut artist album. Spanning a variety of genres, this 12-track release showcases the full range of Nigel's talents. The cinematic "This Is Us" is a fitting opener; a gorgeous piano solo heralds a lush lead melody, floating atop a meaty progressive house groove. The triplet groove of "Flight" is a fresh rhythmic offering, and the melody and strings in this one are equally moving. Nigel enters darker territory with "The Edge", the first of several orchestral pieces on the album. The subsequent cut, "Nothing Out Here", is vintage Nigel: piercing strings and rapturous chords, as well as a summer-flavored guitar hook, provide enormous uplift to the listener. The second "half" of this composition can be heard in the subsequent track, "Something Out There"; all of the feel-good energy reaches its zenith in this one.

At the album's midway point, we are met by the lead single, "One Minus Space", an ironic nod to his previous hit, "Space Minus One". As per usual, Nigel blends acoustic and symphonic instrumentation with synthesized lead chords; the result is one of his most memorable arrangements to date. His drum and bass experiment "Fourth Wall" and his second album interlude, "Cine", further illustrate the diversity of sounds on the album. Centering on an irresistible vocal hook by rising Swedish artist Johnny Norberg, "There For You Now" is the most likely candidate to remain in your head after the first listen. Arguably the album's climactic track, "Discover" features soaring chords, punctuated by heavenly vocal samples (an artist signature). Rounding out the album, "The Balance Part 2" is a very welcome sequel to one of Nigel's most successful singles with Silk. Finally, "This Is It" pays homage to his previous hit "This Is Us"; this gorgeous, string-themed classical piece also brings Nigel's exhilarating and deeply poignant album to its conclusion.

Onto lighter and more tranquil terrain, the Italian maestro hits us deeper with an emotive take on the original. Using light and textured synths, dreamy pads and a melody that could move clouds he has hit all the right notes. After the huge success of our first release as Perplexity Music, the captivating production from Alex H & Roald Velden - Perplexity of Dreams has been in the pipeline of getting a new refreshing take on it. We are delighted to introduce 3 influential producers who have created such mesmerizing remakes of this already amazing original & it is our greatest pleasure to finally introduce you to this phenomenal package.

The first remix comes from UK super producer Zuubi who is no stranger to the progressive house world, creating some of the most awe inspiring releases to grace our auditory senses. With an impressive list of productions on labels such as Sunset Melodies, DMAX Recordings & Macarize, he has added this enthralling remix to it. Adding a more gritty & electronic edge to the mellow original, Zuubi gives a taste of the nightlife, creating a perfect floor filler to enjoy on those rolling summer nights. This energetic remake certainly breathes a whole new aura into naturally by ensuring that the soothing melodies have remained, just given a little boost to highlight the good feelings the release emits. 

Next up we have another progressive house sensation, Musty to join us & concoct this gleaming remix. This Argentinian based producer has provided some beautiful production on labels such as Elliptical Sun Melodies, Mindgate Music & Sunset Melodies & his talent can be heard instantaneously. Following the paths of the serene & calming feel of the original, Musty takes it down further by developing the luscious melodic vibrancy that can be absorbed so easily. Almost like a sigh of relief, you feel the softness of the release via the gentle chord work & piano lines, how they emulate the works of the original artists.  

Last but not least we have dynamite remix from Sunny Terrace who joins us from Korea. Establishing is name on labels such as Pineapple Digital, PHW & Elliptical Sun Melodies, he delivers this dashing remix for us. A cross between a chilling yet upbeat vibe, he adds more flavor to the melodies by creating more layers of perfection.  More beautiful melodic stabs encased with light pads & percussions show the warmth & relaxing aura of the release, making you want to delve into a world of bright skies, cool breezes & warm, reflecting waters.  

Nothing but hard work, dedication & peaking emotion has gone into these reworks,  remixing any track properly is a daunting task but these producers have done the original artists proud as well as the label. together to organise, for the first time, an event dedicated to the beautiful melodic progressive
house we love: Progressive Unity.
Hosted on 18th October at one of the city’s most unique venues: the amazing Hill Street Blues
bar in the heart of Amsterdam. This historic event presents twelve of the scene’s most respected
figures, DJing for the love of the wonderful music we all adore.
One of the main aims of this event was to give something back to our fans and supporters, by
putting on a free night for them. Continuing this theme we are very proud to collectively bring you
