Most recently, his musical path led him to produce electronic music. Voldemar’s is a unique mix of Russian folk, organic melodies, and electronic beats. He mainly works with downtempo, progressive and organic house and melodic techno.

This week we welcome my good friend Nick Newman back to take care of episode #99. He brings the energy with a slamming progressive session.

Bio:

British-born DJ/producer Nick Newman has established himself as one of the most original and deeply-textured artists in the electronic music scene. Newman’s music, characterized by its warm meditative quality and ethereal soundscapes, has made its way onto industry-leading labels such as Armadillo Records, Seven Villas, The Soundgarden, Sudbeat Music, Manual Music, and Stripped Recordings. His sound has also garnered support from the world’s most influential progressive house DJ’s such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Gai Barone, Pablo Bolivar, Kora, John Fleming, Solid Stone, Nicolas Rada, Nick Varon, and more. Equally as impressive, Newman began his career as a DJ at age 14. He frequents the airwaves with regular guest mixes and radio shows where his sets range from 115bpm downtempo to 124bpm+ progressive house. His sound and style are instantly recognizable and suitable for warmup to peak hours, as well as the early-morning cooldown sets

One Drop | Mamaaa Plays on Saturday Morning (Deppo 2024: Unten Floor)

I had the great pleasure to play the opening for the beautiful main floor at Wild things Festival in 2024, at beautiful Klingenmühle.

Initially, the opening slot was planned for two hours, but we all just kept on dancing on … hence, the total set ended up being around 5h. Of those, only 3h have been recorded, due to some technical issues. On SC I uploaded the mid part.

I started with a more ambient, dreamy style for the people to arrive, build the energy with bass-heavy downtempo and then the set progressed into progressive house and some melodic techno tunes … as we danced into the night.

Thank you, Wildthings Family for this beautiful time. Until we meet & dance again.

WILDTHINGS FESTIVAL 2024 – INTØ ₸HE ℕIGH₮  [opening]

ANGELLO (BR) @ Crema Club, São Paulo - July 12th, 2024 (Warm-Up DJ Set)

Hop on and enter this underwater sauna-racer-ship taking off to its last trip. It's taking a deep d(r)ive through minimalistic deep sea canyons followed by various coral riffs each pulsating in its own bubbly rhythm.

It was a real pleasure playing for so many sound hungry lovely wildies in this crazy fluffy coral riff scene!
The dreamy smiles and the vibrating bass made us goosebumps although one would think that this is not possible with this high humidity.

The set preparation allowed us to process even better that this was the last episode of the Wild Things Festival, for now, which we helped co-create with all these wonderful souls for six years in a row 🥰

In this sense - enjoy the set and let your memory be revived and for those who've not been with us...let your ears be sweetened.
