I have been in the audio/post production industry for 20 years. Starting out as an recording engineer and music producer for bands and artistes in Singapore. In the year 2000 I produced Mandarin Rap/Rock band ‘Chou Pi Jiang’ album ‘In Da Voice Of Chou Pi Jiang’ which was awarded Best Top 10 Local Album by The Straits Times in 2000. This has led to the band being the first Singapore Mandarin band to be signed up by Warner Music Hong Kong in the same year. I then produced Hip Hop group ‘TripleNoize’ - ‘From Where We Sit’ in 2002 which was voted Most Happening Album by Manja magazine in 2002 and the album remained as one of the top selling Rap albums till date. After being a session engineer at various studios, working on a few TV commercials and teaching in the Singapore Polytechnic for a few years, I moved to Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam in 2008 as a Sound Designer/Music Composer. Besides working closely with the top advertising agencies and production companies, I had also collaborated with independent filmmakers, artistes, event production companies, production houses and music labels mostly. My recording, editing, sound designing, music composing and mixing skills are recognized by many directors, producers and clients. Some of the TV commercials I was involved in include: Necafe, Mobifone, Coke, Suzuki, Dutch Lady, Suzuki and Honda. I had also entered the game audio industry with my first mobile game release in 2012 and my first feature film completed with 7.1 surround mix in 2015. Now back in Singapore as full-time Sound Designer...
