Two-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, producer and musician Nikki Flores has been making a name for herself since she was signed at just 15 years old. Known for her powerfully emotive voice and ability to craft lyrics that touch people across the spectrum, Nikki stands out with little to no accompaniment.
She grew up on record labels over the course of 7 years, and when her music was shelved, she turned her focus back to songwriting and producing for others. Nikki has since had releases with some of music’s most notable artists including Nas, Zayn, David Guetta, and Christina Aguilera - as well as long time collaborators JoJo, Hayley Kiyoko and the Midnight.

Throughout Nikki's creative journey, she never lost sight of her own artistry - and has been quietly developing her own full-length LP since 2017. 
“Luuna’s Room”, the title of her very personal project, is an ode to her higher self. It reads like her diary, and feels like a bedroom portal to a void in the cosmos - where she leans in to the bitter-sweetness of her growing pains, and learns that holding hands with our shadow is how we become whole again.
Inspired by her own mental health journey, Nikki shines a lush and ambient light on her relationship to self, alchemy, impermanence, spirituality, nature, love and loss in her intimate and explorative album.

Luuna's Room

I left Los Angeles and moved to the desert on the spring equinox last month. A day that some cultures celebrate as nature’s new year. I’ve been realizing more and more that the way I’ve been going about things has been counterintuitive to what my actual being craves, and it wasn’t until I stopped everything, burned bridges to anything that didn’t set my heart on fire, and sat quietly with myself could I actually connect to what that was. I am soft, I am intense, I am not for everyone. I’m fascinated by what makes us the way that we are, I have been followed by a deep darkness my entire life that until recently I didn’t know how to befriend. Every once in a while, in between the clouds, I found these tiny moments of clarity that reminded me that my only job here on this planet was to be light, to explore and create and love. 
"Luuna” represents this clarity, a mirror, my higher self, a version of me from the future or another place or time who is fully embodied, who is first to advocate for herself and for others, who gladly lets go of what no longer serves her, who is strong and wise and accepts nothing less than she deserves. She knows that on the other side of every challenge there is growth and information. She welcomes the darkness, for it is where she shines the brightest. She’s yours and mine. Luuna's Theme

"PreLuude" began as "Soul Fly".. It felt like a mantra or a meditation. A portal that kept reflecting back shimmers of myself. It may feel like a love song on the first few listens, (it very well could be and I can’t wait for you to dedicate it to somebody special ☺️💕), but like a lot of this project, these songs ended up becoming conversations with myself I never got the chance to have before.
Thank you so much for inspiring me to continue to heal and grow, and for meeting me here in this space and time again.

Happy release day / super blue moon!! Can you feel it?! 😮‍💨🌖✨
This is one of my favorite songs from the album. I knew I wanted to pay homage to some of my favorite artists like Prince, Mariah, Janet and Blood Orange throughout this project, and as the production kept evolving over time I found myself loving this one more & more. I’m super grateful on this supermoon to my amazing friends & collaborators who were so incredibly generous & kind while helping me bring this one to life. 🧡💕

✨ Happy Flower Moon 🪷🌕 
I started learning how to play guitar during the pandemic, and this was the first song I wrote completely on electric. The story is about falling so far in love I ended up in what seemed like another dimension. Though it often felt far from reality and I couldn’t stay there forever, it was such a beautiful space to float 🤍
I’m particularly proud of this one because it’s the first song I’ve written, performed, produced, mixed and mastered all by myself, so to find its full fruition on the flower moon which represents renewal and vibrant growth feels amazing.

Guitar Hero

Of the tracks on her upcoming album Luuna’s Room due Oct 17th, “Mirror” stands out as a profound exploration of self-reflection. The song delves into two-time Grammy nom Nikki Flores’ personal journey & recent revelation of her high-functioning Autism spectrum disorder. Written just before her transition from LA to the SoCal desert, “Mirror” captures the essence of her experience with “unmasking” — the process of embracing and expressing her true self.
