"The College Radio Road Trip" - By Nikki Marra

On November 28th, Fire ripped through the Fish Food bank in Ellensburg, Washington, the building and goods were a total loss at a time of year when the need is highest.

The student staff at KCWU-FM (88.1 The 'Burg, Central Washington University's campus radio station, put this together to help raise awareness and food for the food bank.

The food bank’s mission doesn't stop, but they need your help.

FISH updated its list of most needed items, including cereal, rice, beans, canned fruit and vegetables. Other needed items include canned soup, peanut butter, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned tuna fish and boxed macaroni and cheese. Boxes and grocery bags also are needed. 

Funds can be donated through the FISH website, www.kvfish.org/donate, or can be mailed to FISH, P.O. Box 85, Ellensburg, WA 98926.

Their goal has always been helping a community in need, as a community, let’s help the FISH Food bank in their time of need.
