The first Digital Tears song that actually came together. I originally wrote this one in 2011 and recorded a heavier and grittier version of this particular song with Miko Kontturi in 2012. I was unsatisfied with it because it sounded a little too organic for my taste. I have made guitar-oriented, organic and heavy songs ever since I picked up the guitar and my solo effort is supposed to be something completely different. 

I'm still going to record vocals, guitars and basses on the particular piece of work, but it's going to sound cleaner and the main focus is on keyboards and programming this time. I'm hoping to get a chance to work with some talented people I know when I'm actually recording studio versions of these particular songs but at the moment I'm only working on demos and drafts.

Now, Kerli returns with another Alice-inspired tune, “Racing Time.” It’s a more reflective take on the Alice theme from an artist who has demonstrated a maturity in her art through her most recent singles, “Feral Hearts” and “Blossom.”
