As Guy J's exceptional Lost & Found imprint reaches the milestone 50 releases, they look back at 3 moments which have made the label so successful. Bristling with talent, the label has showcased the amazing Israeli progressive scene like no other. First up comes long time friends and collaborators, Sahar Z and Navar with their 2017 smash, When We Face Reality re-edited by an inspired Khen. Deep, soulful and utterly beguiling, the melodies soar in melancholy wonder. Khen is the next artist to get the remix treatment, this time from Belgian superstar Hermanez. Focusing on Khen's incredible sound design, Hermanez builds a uniquely melodic groover from all manner of percussive sources. Finally, Luka Sambe's Sooti, here gloriously reimagined by Eli Nissan. The most uptempo of the trio, Eli weaves a nuanced tail with sweeping sonics, deep pads and cleverly orchestrated toplines.

First appearance of Colombian Fernando Olaya (Beatfreak / Mango Alley) on Univack Records, with a 3-tracks solo EP that explores his deepest (and most elegant) facet.

Iguazú, Tulum, and Tecnicolor have in common chords, progressions, and sounds, creating a unique universe, not only in each of the tracks but also as a package.

As usual in Olaya´s discography, all pieces are focused on the dancefloor, with long breakdowns and accentuated drops, hidden weapons for last minutes of warm-up sets to peak time closing sets.

Fernando Olaya - Iguazú (Original Mix)

The latest from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Alec Araujo to the label for his debut single. With a long history in progressive music, the Brazilian artist has earned the praise of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Paul Oakenfold over the course of his thirteen-year career. Releases on Balkan Connection, Global Underground, Particles and Plattenbank sit prominently in his discography. Now making his first appearance on Dopamine White Alec presents his latest studio creation ‘Manija' alongside a remix from NAHS & DJ Paul.
Beginning with the original mix Alec works neatly detailed percussion over a bed of rolling beats and buzzing bass stabs. Hazy atmospheres drift, creating an air of anticipation as rhythmic hooks and ghostly sweeps fill in the framework. Smooth yet powerful, the narrative evolves with phasing overlays and hopeful pads carrying into a short but timely break, perfectly resetting the groove for an exhalating finale.
The lone interpretation of Manija' is provided by NAHS and DJ Paul. The Argentinean duo have collaborated once previously on ‘Secret Place', a track which found a home on DJ Paul's recent full length album ‘Small Musical Stories' released via Soundteller Records. Now combining their creative vision once again the Buenos Aires duo craft a stunning rendition of Manija'. Taking a cue from the original, it's driving ethos and character rich low end make an immediate impact. Clattering percussion adds nicely to its powerful momentum, while meandering melodic concepts and indistinct vocals bring an esoteric air. A spaced-out interlude sits at the core of the piece, furthering the mystical vibes onwards into a meditative final movement. A gorgeous remix from NAHS and DJ Paul which caps off a great Dopamine White debut for Alec Araujo.

Nikko.Z was born in 1985 in Greece. From a very young age, he expressed his great love for music. Bands like ‘Pink Floyd’ and ‘The Doors’ were a great inspiration for him.

Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and John Digweed were among those artists who were and still are a role model for Nikko and those who influenced him deeply at the age of 14. Growing up, he started exploring and listening to electronic music as well as DJing, which after a while became a real love for electronic music and a big passion. That was when the purpose was born, to produce his own tracks and leave his musical mark.

In 2006 he studied electronic music production in SAE International Institute of Athens. Over the past fifteen years he has created several productions in his own studio. More than 20 different labels from all over the world have trusted and released his productions. He has also presented his dj sets as a guest at several internet radio stations, such as Proton Radio, Frisky Radio, CrossFm, Golden Wings, Dance Radio and in many clubs in Europe, South America and the USA.  His tracks have been remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile (Orange Bus - Movement Recordings, Slope - Dopamine) 

His music has received support from artists like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomiie, Marco Carola, Anthony Pappa, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk and many more.

Since 2012 he successfully runs the record label Dopamine and the sub label Dopamine White with more of 100 releases of artists from around the world. Among them is also Hernan Cattaneo who produced a remix of Nikko's track Slope. The releases receive great feedback and support from the most renowned artists of the scene. 

The last five years he has been sharing his knowledge on music production by delivering courses in music institutes such as the Tsitsanis Museum.
