‘17 years of Mainframe Recordings’ album. The LP features an eye watering 18 tracks, all of which provide a snapshot into how the imprint has evolved over the course of its expansion. Including newcomer artists who Mainframe are currently investing in, as well as those who Mainframe have had play at their raucous club nights, there’s a host of tastes catered for. And with a name like Disaszt at the helm, the album, the label and its events have been in good hands. 
Tracks like Ripple’s ‘Stranger’, Wingz ‘Definite’, and Halflow’s ‘Progressive ID’ set the mood, showing the talent which Mainframe have at their fingertips when it comes to the fresher waters of drum & bass. Then Mainframe frequenters Dubape, Phentix, Alibi and Smooth pull you into their expert riddims throughout its track listing. Breakpitt & Tenchu offers something different throughout the soundscape of ‘Flashfreeze’ whilst Picota & Kumbh’s ‘Contact’ continues the moodier vibes. Tobax’s cutthroat style is prevalent throughout ‘Overback’ and the head honcho Disaszt returns with Dorian for ‘Boom’. Tuff Gee & Carter’s ‘Pimp Ride’, Manta’s ‘Childhood Memories’, Salaryman’s ‘Soul Reminder’, Akov’s ‘Afterlife’ and Counterstrike’s ‘Fearless’ finishes the exclusively new tracks but there’s more to come, with a VIP treatment of TR Tactics and The Clamps ‘Maggot’. 
As an album, it’s a formidable collection of tracks. But when looking at Mainframe’s vast history, they would need such an LP to pay homage to their legacy and ‘17 Years of Mainframe’ certainly delivers. So, sit back and begin your journey through the album, which is sure to bring back memories from the best club nights over recent times.

Today we launch undeniably our most anticipated release since we began the label back in March. Diagnostix' Atomic EP is our first flushed out, 4 track EP. A new member on the team, Diagnostix has already taken centre stage, and his unreleased music has been some of the most sought after bits we've been keeping hold of. Trust us, Diagnostix won't be a fresh face for much longer.

Title Track ‘Atomic’, featuring Cardiff’s own P.A.B. MC comes equipped with a tricky halftime second-drop, whilst ‘Spray Out’ delivers a more underground sound, moulding two iconic UK genre’s together with its fast paced drums, a rolling bass which carries through and a classic cypher-esque Grime vocal laid over the top.
The EP also features 2 collaborative efforts. First, Mushra steps up with 'EMP'. Delayed drop into a big ol' wobble, this is a Diagnostix tune no doubt, but Mushra's fingerprints are all over. Pengo, who's taken 2020 in his stride this year with an ever amassing series of top-notch production's assisted in the making of 'Get Mad'. It doesn't take a genius to see where the name of the track's come from, with a healthy serving of the sample throughout, alongside a genius and satisfying central locking sample that takes you back to that time you lost your car in the Westfest car park.

With the release of our Back to Jungle VOL 2 LP imminent, we’re very pleased to bring you one more final teaser of what to expect from the upcoming album. Included within the sampler is tracks from DJ SS, High Roll & Ragga Twins, Azpect and Fabric8. 

The first track from Formations head honcho, ‘DJ SS’, and Wolverhampton based vocalist ‘Dvotion’ sees a fantastic compilation of laid back Jungle vibes through the introduction, with first class vocal tracks that compliment well. As we progress through the laid back vibes is quickly switched out for an awesome display of everything that jungle has to offer. Fast drum patterns accompanied by deep and powerful bass makes ‘If I ever’ a must have for every jungle DJs collection. 

Bulgaria’s biggest bass music export, High Roll, and the legends that are the Ragga Twins bring an unapologetic energy track to the sampler. ‘ We A Dem’ is filled with full force power throughout with High Roll and Ragga Twins working in perfect synergy to produce a track that will be lingering with listeners after the 5 minutes of perfection has finished. 

As we move through the sampler, Fabric8, one of Formations newest signings brings his trademarks to the EP with ‘Retrograde’. Huge bass and non-stop intensity creates a dark and ominous track that has become to be this up and coming young producer’s signature. 

The final track of the EP ‘Azpects – The Fight’ see’s the female Canadian based producer and DJ use a series memorable vocal inserts to escort listeners through the track and she takes us on a journey of pure jungle. With rhythmic bass and energy laden drums this track has a fighting quality possessed within.
