We've always been impressed by RIFFA, whether it be his legendary stand out tracks, his label (OKNF Records) or his ridiculously good looks, but god DAMN did he out do himself with his debut EP and absolutely blew our minds. His 'The Sound Of Fire' EP has got to be one of the most well rounded EP's we've ever heard. The originals are outstanding, perfectly curated tech house bombs that really raise the bar to the vibe we seek to create for this label. 

We're all about those cutting edge bangers on that strictly need to know basis, and we're elated to be able to represent RIFFA in his highest form; and damn did homie delivered the goods. Not to mention the remixes; wow.. You can't fix perfection but you sure as hell can compliment it and this is exactly what happens when we summon 3 of our favorite heavy hitters to step up and deliver 3 PERFECT, eclectic remixes. The boys really hit it out of the park on this one and it's always a pleasure to welcome friends old and new back to the label.

Riff has always inspired us with his balls to the wall productions, and feel like he really stepped it up to his highest potential for his FIRST EP. We're insanely honored too be able to provide for this milestone and have nothing but love and support for this outstanding young legend. Expect some big things coming from this lad this coming year, RIFFA is an absolute legend, great friend and an even better producer; and we're excited to see how all this plays into his career. Born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, originating from Budapest Hungary, Niklis C or Niklis Csanyi has had a love for electronic music ever since he was young. Nik’s brother was his first true inspiration into the world of electronic and dj’ing culture, this inspiration led Nik to his first set of turntables and mixer. From that point on he was hooked.

Starting it out as a hobby for about 4 years, Nik then took a trip to Hungary/Europe which solidified his dedication to the music and dj culture. The trip was truly an amazing experience, witnessing the massives of Sensation , Gatecrasher, and Creamfields where he saw Paul Kalkbrenner, Markus Schultz, Laidback Luke, Bingo Players, Axwell, and ATB rock the crowd like no other. He also recently took a trip to Miami to board The Groove Cruise (The Worlds Largest Floating Dance Music Festival) where he had the opportunity of playing along side the likes of many well known Dj's such as Sander Van Doorn, Donald Glaude, Chris Lake, Roger Sanchez, Sydney Blu, Thomas Gold, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Funkagenda, Darude, Steeve Smooth, Dj Scotty Boy and Ryan Morales who he is now in constant contact with and is also a big inspiration to his dj career.

Taking it to the next level in Edmonton Niklis then came to meet such local dj's as Christian J, Dj Aidan, B-Ill, Anthony Donohue, Audioholic, and Seelo Mondo, their dedication and mindset towards the music and the scene further drove Niklis to be involved heavily here in Edmonton. Once Nik finally got his first chance to Play at Y Afterhours it was done, hooked for life. At 23 years of age, with 5 yrs under his belt, holding residencies all over the city not to mention playing all over Alberta and opening for many world renowned DJ's/Producers, Niklis C has fire in his eyes, talent, and is one young dj to watch out for.
