why won't it finish itself?

sans the arpeggio, the sound is completely generated by a guitar. only the bass drone is a pre-recorded and processed sample of the guitar. everything is else is processed and generated on the fly.

finally cleared the tape for new beginnings. the operator-1 gives life through synthetic tape.

rough sketch 10 - grit

this was a track i sketched out while the only synth i had on me was my trusty op-1. all sounds were created and recorded on the op-1. i transferred the four tracks of the op-1 tape to logic pro x and did some basic arranging and volume automation.

op-1 exp-6 - melancholic temperament

this is my first completed track. i'm really proud of how the track ended up, flaws and all. hopefully i can continue moving towards more completed pieces of work away from mere sketches.
