An up and coming music producer and DJ based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Alokin has been involved with music his entire life.

His first exposure to creating music came when he began playing the piano at age 5. At age 10, his interest shifted towards learning how to play the guitar. As time passed, his passion for music and creativity grew. In 2011, Alokin travelled with his brothers to Toronto for Caribana, where he developed a deep appreciation for soca music. From these experiences, Alokin has learned to appreciate all genres of music and incorporate a variety of styles into his unique sound.

In 2011, Alokin took his passion to a new level and began mixing music and producing his own songs. He has produced hip hop beats, electronic music and even classical orchestra pieces. In April of 2013, his songs began gaining exposure and he became the resident DJ at the Chaise Cafe, a local restaurant and lounge in Winnipeg’s French quarter, St. Boniface, playing a mix of his own songs among others.

Alokin has also deejayed at nightclubs like Stereo and Liv in the Exchange, as well as EDM events, socials, hip hop nights, soca and reggae nights. Recently, Alokin has collaborated with artists from Germany and the United States who reached out to him after hearing his original music.

He specializes in mixing EDM, including Trance and Chill/Lounge; however, he is also well-versed in hip hop, soca , reggae, classics/oldies, and top 40s.

Alokin is a determined individual, dedicated to his craft. He is focused not only on gaining recognition locally but also internationally.
