Funk & Juice I

I just love expression of the inner world in as many forms and shapes as there are people. Discovering my taste for beats and music when I was still a teenager.
Started  percussion, African Drum (Djembe) when I was 16, playing World Music and Reggae. 
Afterwards venturing into Jazz. Doing street performances and playing at small venues throughout Belgium.

Then electro and new wave was it for me, discovering the electronic side of music. Anthony Rother was high on my list but also the darker side of electro like 'Das Ich' and 'Einsturzende Neubaten'

Not long after I discovered clubbing! Cafe D'anvers club was one of my first 'resident' hang outs in the w-end. Also La Rocca club and the many underground parties I used to spend (days) in. 

My taste for music became 'soft'  loving what was called 'mellow house' back then.
This never changed and became more and more refined as I started Dj'ing late 90'ties, playing the tunes I love so much. 
I can  still remember me playing with the very first Traktor Studio which came around 2000 and absolutely loving it.

What started out as a hobby still is a passion to this day. Because a passion it is. Not a day goes by I don't listen to Deep House.

I had the luck to spin sets at different parties on different places in the world. S - Tech Sessions, Velvet Lounge, a art gallery opening in Brooklyn. 
Spinning online in virtual worlds and internet radio. And other places my life brought me so far. Just sharing what I love.. Deep House music.

With this in mind I gave up everything else to create WorldOfDeepHouse.com. 

There are so many great things out there, going from the music to the people who have a talent to share.
As to many things get lost in the shadows that truly deserve to be out there, I created a platform for them to shine.

And that's what I do. I DJ, am a blogger and create.
