Nikola Sy is a singer/songwriter, rhythm guitarist, and electronic collaborator whose music blends the soul of vintage eras with a modern edge. With emotionally rich vocals and captivating guitar work, he draws inspiration from jam bands, jazz, funk, indie, folk, oldies, Americana, and the classic sounds of the ’60s and ’70s.

Originally from Alabama, Nikola picked up guitar in his teens and studied Audio Technology at SAE Institute in Nashville. After launching his career in Tuscaloosa and relocating to South Florida, he spent the past 8 years performing hundreds of shows—solo and in duos—and recently returned from a year of performing in Thailand.

In the past four years, he’s also stepped into the electronic scene through an ongoing collaboration with Crowd Controlol. Their latest track—a reinterpretation of “Everything In Its Right Place” on Nervous Records—marks their second release and has already charted on Beatport and Traxsource while streaming in over 75 countries.

Nikola is continuing to build momentum in the electronic world while remaining grounded in his roots. He’s open to working with DJs and producers who value blending organic and electronic elements. Alongside collaborations, he’s currently focused on his debut solo EP and expanding his live performance presence globally.
