Ben Weber is a self-proclaimed sound-anarchist. Catchy melodies, jazzy funk and dreamy melancholia embedded in well-structured arrangements and airy beats define his sound.  His influences stem from his youth where he was mesmerised by punk, metal, funk and wave. Here, on the extremely versatile LMF014 ‘The Streets’ four original productions in collaboration with Phable and Alex Eilers are being showcased alongside two remixes by Low Steppa and WD2N.	

While ‘Castle in the Air’ convinces thanks to its laid-back charm, rolling percussion and sun-drenched guitar licks, ‘Unconditioned Love’ presents itself as a deep midnight chugger with a Balearic vibe, epic chords and emotional strings, all complimented by Phable’s stunning voice. ‘Nineties’ and ‘The Streets’ together with Alex Eilers are more forward, with the former paying homage to the classic Jersey house sound and the latter channelling 80s synth-pop within a deep house context. As for the remixes: Low Steppa rebuilds ‘Castle in the Air’ on a robotic UK garage groove for his peak-time bomb, whereas WD2N enhances the melodious aspects of ‘Unconditioned Love’ on his interpretation.

Having previously featured on Eskimo Recordings' 2018 compilation 'The Purple Collection’ as one half of Languages, Franz Matthews returns to the label alongside fellow Berliners Local Suicide with the 'Meditation / Tutan Jamon', 2 tracks of heady disco that join the dots between the German capital and the sun soaked souks of North Africa.
 
Despite living on the same street for 4 years Franz Matthews and Brax Moody and Vamparela from Local Suicide only met recently through their common friend Sam Berdah (Days of Being Wild, Club Bizarre). Making up for lost time, the trio soon found themselves bonding in the studio, digging into their love of both the esoteric and travelling, and together channelled those passions into 2 spiritually infused numbers.
 
'Meditation'was the first result of this inspired partnership, appropriately recorded at the same time that Matthews was also recording music for a meditation app, and features a freeform stream of consciousness from Vamparela over a suitably hypnotic backing of wistful guitars and breezy rhythms. 'Tutan Jamon' meanwhile shares its DNA with recent Eskimo releases by the likes of Simple Symmetry and SHMLSS, the track built around a couple of very Egyptian influenced riffs and comes in two distinct versions.
 
Between his production studio MOWD, his duo Languages, and his solo electronic project, Franz Matthews keeps himself busy. Making Berlin his hometown for the past 5 years, the Franco-German producer and DJ has always kept one hand in the Indie Dance world, while the other wanders in more Psychedelic Pop realms, a winning combination that's seen him release music on imprints such as Eskimo Recordings, Days of Being Wild, Rockets & Ponies.
 
Local Suicide, aka DJs and producers Brax Moody and Vamparela, meanwhile have made a name for themselves putting on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, running their acclaimed blog and still finding time to make waves with their productions, a wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno and post-disco that has seen them work with the likes of Rodion, Mijo and Curses in recent years.

Exclusive Luca Bacchetti 'The Bridge (Mathias Schober Remix)'

Quarter of a year after his debut album on Endless Luca Bacchetti's 'Secret World' gets the remix treatment from Iñigo Vontier, Stefano Onorati, Luca himself and Lossless co-label head Mathias Schober. The latter took on remix duties for 'The Bridge' and basically does what the track title suggests, 'bridging' or combining two of the track's features, namely the pathos – in its original meaning – and 'The Bridge's' mental 'delusions and confusions' as Fontane would say. The result of Schober's approach is an emotional almost poetically arrangement riddled with various musical and artistic valleys and mountains that is made for the end of a long (club) odyssey or journey.

Luca Bacchetti's 'Secret World Remixes' will be released on Endless on January 10th, 2020.

Back once again here is the most fabulous... Rampue! Being referred to as one of the most promising production talents and the undisputed master of the new Romantic House movement taking over todays dancefloors our man from Berlin caters his next four piece EP under the innocence-craving name of „Lets Be Kids Again“.

Starting off with the sound of looped, campfire'esque and folk-referring guitars on top of tricky, stuttering beats the opening track „Never“ is causing a bit of confusion before transforming into the most soft-skinned piece of SlowHouse one has ever come across, featuring the most tender and fracturable female voice sampled in the history of electronic music. This one's neither a track or a song – this one's nothing but pure audio love.

Coming up next is „Sometimes“ with it's deep ambient'ish intro built of layered minor strings and a few shakers which turns into a slowly pumping DiscoFunk excess serving all ingredients for being what's to be called a late night ladies tune. Seductive vocals? Check. Chicago-referring basslines? Check. Background vocoders? Check. A groove that's hell of sexy? Double check. This one's as brilliant as Daft Punk's debut album for sure.

The title track „Lets Be Kids Again“ is on a more dancefloor demanding tip with ever echo'ing sounds, pumping drums and a special clap drive perfectly corresponding with flickering, slightly balearic guitars, tweedling violins and sweet, melancholia-infused vocals singing praise of golden childhood memories.
Finally we have „Colour Back“ which is to be referred to as the next piano driven future classic. More fragile vocals meet very unique and creative filter techniques here, hosting a thrilling scifi synth line that seems to be sprung from the ItaloDisco heydays, perfectly contrasting the organic backing with its cold and artifical vibe.
