Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

"Bremer was one of our most beloved discoveries of 2017. We didn’t hesitate to get in contact with the young man, who would soon join our family. Now, one year later we have a collaboration between him and rising talent Nordfold for one of our sleakest releases, we have put out yet. Rounding up the EP with near perfection, is a remix coming from our very own Sam Goku.


 
Main titel track „Yano“ builds a fancy dance arrangement around an incredible vocal sample from 1976 sung by Akiko ‚Yano’.  An Uplifting synth lead, organic percussion patterns and Yano’s vocals create an asian touched atmosphere, that stands out in an era of uncountable music productions.
 
With nostalgic, rolling basslines and iconic vocal pads from the 80’s, „Helmer“ embodies the sound of retro. As big lovers of Drive and new synth-wave generation, this production is truly an affair of the heart for us. A fantastic B-Side rounding up the theme of fusing old and new elements in the best way possible.
 
With finesse and gentle care, Sam Goku returns on Nie Wieder Schlafen with his second remix and yet again, it has the potential to fascinate the masses, while maintaining an incredibly humble underground sound. Inspired by the Original, Sam Goku extends on what was there, rather than drastically changing it. A light-hearted piano melody and Goku’s characteristic pads elevate the original’s core elements to an even dreamier state, while maintaining the fantastic groove and adding beefier low-fequencies."

After spending good time in the studio together, we decided to collect some ideas from jamming, combine our sampling and producing skills and with a touch of oriental sounds make track from it. It's hard to say what inspired us..we just felt it and the flow was incredible good. After spending weekend together we had clear vision of this track.

Track was recorded in Tashi's home studio. At first we recorded some freestyle takes using his hardware and Logic to make first vision of what we want to get. When idea was clear we transported stems to Ableton on my computer to add some fx's. I'm more like a software guy and Tashi has skills on playing live instruments..we combined this two experiences.

I was invited to work in a studio thanks to my dear friend/dj John Mehnert. He met me with Tashi (owner of Guesthouse Berlin) during my last visit in Berlin and we started to think about making music together. As it came out, our work can be so creative and productive. After making 'Sem Conhecer' Tashi decided to put this track on a 4 years of label compilation! Sweet ;)

For past year it has happened a lot of good things, contacts and gigs. It all gave a lot of positive energy to continue work and surprising our listeners with new things. We want to continue working together and promote our vision of music. New releases are coming out in few months. 

Our beloved Guesthouse Berlin has been around for 4 long years now and initially nobody would have thought that we would survive even one Year! But once again everything came differently than expected. We have developed into a wonderful label and agency that not only organizes high-quality events all over the world, we also promote young talented artists and brings their music to the market without any commercial ulterior motives. To cultivate the whole thing, we've prepared a sampler for you that comes out in two parts. We would like to introduce the first sampler to you. To further wonderful years with you!

Joep Mencke, one of the happies campers of them all, and his soul-propelling masterpiece, Asiri, is the perfect piece of music to usher in the Spring. “Music takes me on a journey. With a hefty back catalog of releases and an ever-evolving style, Berlin mainstay Niko Schwind dives into his introspective side on the Amari EP, which boasts four original tracks including a collab with DJ, producer and vocalist Felix Raphael.

Opener Circles is a tangle of dreamy pads and wistful vocals, with gleaming synths and undulating drums complementing Felix Raphael’s pensive lyrical incantations.
