I'm not a very good producer so that's why I just try to make fun in the studio. It's not going to bring me any awards but it does result in cool stuff from time to time. 

For this track I wanted to make something hardcore!
But no 2019 style..... Oldschool....early rave, that's what I wanted!

I told myself I could only use original gabber samples. So all the bassdrums, percussion and synths are vintage hardcore sounds. 909 claps, infamous sounds and Neophyte Bassdrums. 

I really wanted to go back to basics. So I almost didn't use any effects and present day studio magic. I wanted to make this track just like it was created in a hardcore studio back in 1997. It was hard to keep things simple but I really wanted to stay true to the concept. 

For the release I wanted a typical 90's cover! I designed it myself including the Pat B smiley who turned into a gabber cyborg or something like that lol.

Two contrasting remixes of ‘Space Date’ come courtesy of Pleasurekraft and John Monkman, as the three-way collaboration between Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet continues to thrill. Joining the strong reworks is an unexpected treat for fans; a last-minute inclusion of a fresh new original track from the trio.

Drumcode got its first taste of Pleasurekraft’s unique production touch in 2016 when ‘Dopefield’ dropped on ‘A-Sides Vol.5’. The Swedish/American duo’s exploration of cosmic techno realms made them the ideal candidates to re-work ‘Space Date’. Their contribution is as visceral as they come; defined by a hypnotic vocal arrangement, a stirring call and response melody and propulsive galloping beats fashioned for peak-time moments. No surprise it was a highlight of Adam Beyer’s Ultra Resistance sets and gobsmacked Maceo Plex who requested a promo to play at Time Warp a week later.

Meanwhile Drumcode debutant John Monkman steps up with a very different, but not less deadly reinterpretation of ‘Space Date’. The Brit has impressed in recent times with strong releases on Ellum, Kompakt and his own Beesemyer imprint, and takes this form into DC207. His is a twisted intergalactic re-rub drenched in warped electro, blistering modular sounds and touches of IDM that manages the difficult task of taking the original to darker, more leftfield realms without ever losing its powerful dancefloor pulse. 

A new collaborative work ‘Data Point’ joins the pack, only completed by the trio of Beyer, Giordani and Green Velvet in late May in time for the Drumcode boss to drop it at IMS Dalt Villa during the sunset slot with Ida Engberg.

Dj Skot, born 1975, april the 8th in Tournai, Belgium. He started to spin the decks in 1994, played in many clubs & nightbars in the south of Belgium. 2003 ,He earned his first residency in a flanders private club. 
 
Regular clubber, during 2007, he met many deejays as Dj Ghost, former resident at H2o Club. Ghosts gave Skot his chance in the famous Ghost Birthday Party @ H2o club. Recognized by big names of the local scene, he earned many bookings in many clubs , such as h2o club, la bush, Teknik Factory, Lagoa, but also in events like Liberty White and Ghoststyle...
 
In 2011, he becomes resident and artistic director of THE SUB, where he shares decks with Manu Kenton & Samuel Sanders. 2012, he manages techno parties at H2o Club. Following this experience, he decides to create a concept close to his heart for many years, and asks Jamie Dill to participate. At this moment, Fanatek Techno Events & Fanatek Booking Agency were born. Big projects for months & years to come, turn fanatek into a major actof of the belgian techno scene but also in many european countries. Dj Skot played with artists like : Rush, Technasia, Marco Remus, Redhead, Ortin Cam, Tom Hades, Stephane Signore Manu Kenton, Dj Ghost, Kamikaze, Jamie Dill,....
 
His music is influenced by : A.Paul,Chris Liebing,Angy Kore,Axel Karakasis,Bas Mooy,John Karagiannis,Len Faki,Marco Bailey,Sven Wittekind,Torsten Kanzler,Ortin Cam....

**JAMIE DILL**
 Born in 1976, this belgian dj started at the young age of 15, he played in belgian clubs, underground events and festivals (dance nation, push the techno, 7 days, lagoa, cherry moon, la bush, h2o, beyoud the eights,...) and many different occasion abroad. The list of dj's he performed with includes space dj'z, the advent, surgeon, underworld, speedy j,... his style is a mix of electro, techno and hardtechno. he plays since 1997, with another name MAN-RAY a 2 hour non-stop program on radio galaxie with the upcoming sounds from the underground (electro, breakcore, experimental, acid,...) In 1999, he produces his first release on LOCAL records with longneck... many tracks will follow under differents pseudonyms on different labels (541, RENOVATED,SUBSOUNDS,...) All these tracks were played by many famous dj's dave clarke, space dj'z, paul langley... In 2004, he's very pleased to start as resident dj every saturday at lagoa. In 2005, he creates his own label KUNT records with the famous track engine.
