Beginning from the young age of 11, Nik Shahiran was always passionate about music. Starting with drum sets, Nik began to delve more into his passions following with the violin, piano & Gendang Kelantan (a traditional Malaysian instrument).

When playing instruments no longer satisfied his cravings for a challenge, he moved on to songwriting at 14. In 2008 WISH was born; Nik Shahiran’s first collaboration with singer Timur Zainal Abidin. After family and friends began raving about WISH, Nik felt even more excited by music, and began to write regularly. Day by day, Nik could feel the improvement for his song compositions and began to take his songwriting seriously. A dream began to unfold as Nik imagined a future with music.

Currently studying composition and production, everyday Nik is bursting with ideas of where he will go next on his musical adventure. Living his life dream inspires him everyday and it definitely shows in his music compositions. Passion can drive your life, and in the case of Nik Shahiran, the above definitely rings true.
