When that old saying "just shoot me now" actually inspires you to write a song about it. When things get tough get tougher, when things get you down get back up again even though your circumstance looks bad there is always a way through. It's good to say but just don't do it!

This year 2016 Niksta was a finalist (top 5) in the Australian Independent Music awards with the song "stomp" for the blues and roots category.
