Fusion und Feel Festival sind Geschichte und nach insgesamt 14 Tagen Camperleben heißt es nun wieder Back2Reality. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich von ganzem Herzen für diese wunderschöne gemeinsame Zeit bei meiner geliebten Station Endlos Crew, meinen Lieblingsmenschen um Delia, Pascal, Tony, Lena, Marci, die Reichelts, die ganze Hamburger Crew und nicht zuletzt bei meinem Herbergsvater Olli bedanken! Ohne euch wäre das zum einen gar nicht möglich gewesen und zum anderen würde es nicht mal halb so viel Spaß machen <3

Zum krönenden Abschluss meiner Reise durften mein geschätzter b2b Partner Nil Son und ich am vergangenen Montag vor Monkey Safari und Pan - Pot das grandiose Ende des Feel Festivals auf unserer Station Endlos Stage einläuten. Für mich war es ganz sicher eines der schönsten Sets die ich bisher spielen durfte und dass wir dabei richtig derbe Spaß hatten, das konnte man denke ich auch hören.Dafür gebührt meinem liebsten b2b Bro Nil Son nochmals ein riesiges Dankeschön, das wiederholen wir zu gegebener Zeit nochmal <3

A product of Iran with Armenian blood raised and currently residing in Los Angeles, Patrik Khach is a DJ, music producer, event curator, and label owner.

Starting from 19 years old in the blossoming scene of LA’s house music, Patrik positioned himself among nightlife impresarios. Working for industry giant Insomniac where he spent endless hours meeting and promoting artists, he observed techniques and stamina of DJ’s delivering to a 1,200 person dance floor on a weekly. Patrik naturally progressed to the stage himself opening for international acts like Dubfire, Art Department, John Dahlback, and Sharam building his own vision clearly unique from the rest.

Patrik has since created and maintained a level of integrity that is rippling through the city as one of the most in-demand acts. He uses the power of music to manipulate time and space by mixing traditional sounds from different cultures with modern day electronic beats. On the dance floor, Patrik has mastered connecting people with eclectic sounds and grooves, uniting listeners from all walks of life. His recent elevated status has earned him to play with notable artists like Acid Pauli and Be Svendsen, invited by Goldcap to play at his intimate Mojave Desert gatherings, and receives a gratitude of support from distinguished labels like Sol Selectas.

In 2016, Patrik and his team launched SBCLTR LA, an going series of meticulously curated parties in Los Angeles and have since become a local sensation and internationally recognized. SBCLTR LA studies, discovers, and selects an intelligent roster of sound, pulling talent from all over the world and promises an outcome of underground sophistication. The platform has served as an outlet for creative ingenuity and encourages artistic expression, allowing talent to breakthrough to a receptive audience in an atmospheric setting where events are strategically held at different locations each time.

To mark another landmark in 2016 is lightly put. Patrik and veteran producer Ali Farahani established “the classier side of electronic music,” as they claim of their record label Pipe & Pochet. Certainly, the gentlemen duo have a complementary joint approach to running a label just as much they do DJing together. Patrik was inspired to move toward music production and immersed himself so deep in the studio, he completed his first track with fellow DJ/producer Sarkis Mikael titled Sioux. Released on Pipe & Pochet during the height of the Dakota Access Pipeline controversy, their first release raised charitable funds responding through the positivity of music.
Future projects promise Patrik is the face to watch as he continues to succeed each journey of his flourishing career. His journey sends an open invitation to the world for people to connect, one track at time from one dance floor to another.

Schon relativ lange verhältnismäßig tief involviert in allerlei Vorgänge mit Bezug zu in einschlägigen Kreisen bekannten Phänomenen wie Groove, Melodie und Bassline (essentielle Bestandteile vom sog. „geilen Beat“), lässt sich der gebürtige Musikbibliotheksinsasse Multimo (häufig auch „DJ Multimo“) durchaus nicht die Butter vom Beat nehmen was das Kredenzen von geschmacklich stimmigen, aus einer fortlaufenden Abfolge synchron abgemischter Musikstücke bestehenden, sog. DJ-Sets (auch Mix, Podcast) angeht. Stilistisch auf einem ausholenden Schlenkerkurs rund um die gerade Kickdrum unterwegs („4 to the Floor“: House, Minimal u.ä.; in diesem speziellen Fall eher selten sog. „richtiger Techno“) hat er dieses Mal versucht, einen Treffer ganz weit unten zu landen: Musik mit ordentlich Bass und fein ziselierten Rhythmen, jedoch durch das Bestreben der afterhourigen Entspannung weniger überladen und eher atmosphärisch ausgerichtet.
 
Anwendungsempfehlung: Je nach persönlichen Vorlieben in einem Zustand der geistig-emotionalen Aufgeschlossenheit in leicht bis stark abgedunkelten Räumen mit oder ohne Tanzfläche zu genießen (im Sommer auch im Freien anwendbar).

Back on Track

Endlich ist es wieder soweit. Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit gehen meine Freunde und ich mal wieder in einen Club. Schon im Eingangsbereich sehe ich bekannte Gesichter und alte Freunde. Man begrüßt sich herzlich, nimmt sich in den Arm oder kloppt sich freundschaftlich auf die Schulter. Dann heißt ab in die Schlange und warten. Nach einem kurzen Wortwechsel mit den Türstehern geht es direkt auf den Dancefloor. Begleitet vom Bass, sowie blitzenden und bunten Lichtern, bahne ich mir meinen Weg durch die tanzende Menge. An der Bar bestelle ich ein Bier. Dann mache ich mich auf ins Getümmel. Leicht einen im Tee, vollkommen glücklich und zufrieden, gebe ich mich der Musik hin. Der hypnotische 4/4 Takt zieht mich in seinen magischen Bahn und ich vergesse die Welt um mich herum. Jetzt gibt es nur noch die Musik, die anderen Tänzer & mich. Jemand tippt mir auf die Schulter. Er lacht mich freundlich an und wir gehen eine Zigarette rauchen. Währenddessen wummert der Bass von drüben zu uns rüber. Ich genieße es einfach wieder auf einer Party zu sein. Diese Momente sind so kostbar und unersetzlich. 

Heute ist Genii auf KataHaifisch mit einem Podcast zu Gast. Ihr Set ist unkonventionell und lässt sich schwer zuordnen. Zu abstrakt für eine Schublade, einfach ein erquickendes Unikat. An diesem Vizefreitag Gedenken wir der guten alten Zeit. Wir erinnern uns mit Freude und auch ein wenig schwermütig, an die Tage zurück, wo wir unbeschwert feiern und tanzen konnten.
