YEARMIX 2022

Her home in Lisbon, Portugal was the beginning of DANYKAS DJ music journey. Her parents were not only her mentors in life, but they were above anything else her mentors in music, sounds and vibrations. Her father and mother were both walking and breathing musical encyclopedias with a vast knowledge of Latin, African, Arabic and Portuguese music. Her tools were clearly provided early and resulted in a sound with a bold and distinctive personal signature that combines Tech House, Afro House, House Music, and many other rhythms that know no borders or limits.

Self-described as a wallflower, DANYKAS DJ launched her first EP “Dina De Brava” in May 2020 – composed by two tracks “Dina De Brava” and “Morna” – an homage to her vivacious and energetic mother, Dina.

DANYKAS DJ is currently living between Portugal and the UK. She has her own monthly radio program “DANYKAS DJ JOY TIME” at Rádio Quântica in Lisbon, Portugal and she is also the Label Manager at Seres Produções based in Luanda, Angola.

Raven Grace - told us that when she was restless in her mother's tummy, Raven didn't calm down until her mother played music. RAven love music started very early. After taking DJ lessons for a while, she started spinning at her own events, various radio shows and clubs.

Joonya T started a few residencies in downtown Toronto, but it’s mostly on College Street that he chose to spin his fresh beats and deep sounds on a weekly basis. And now, once a month, On the House Thursday is an oasis for Toronto dancers.  His soulful spirit is contagious and he has the inner ability to interact with his audience. Joonya T commands the decks with a clear intention of energizing everyone on the dance floor, while taking the dancers and music lovers on a journey.

Over the years, he has had the privilege to spin along side some highly respected djs such as Karizma, Terry Hunter, and DJ Gregory to name a few.  His unique sound captured the attention of radio stations such as Jozi fm in South Africa and the GoGo Music Radio Show, where he has made guest dj appearances. 

TodayJoonya T is a young culturally diverse entrepreneur and a fresh new leader who is filled with an artistic vision and incredible fine creative abilities.  He embraces technology and spends countless hours researching and listening to music.  The time for Joonya T to produce his own sound has inevitably arrived, and as of recent he has been dabbing into music production and continues to learn and evolve. 

Today living in Portugal, Joonya T, brings us all his musical baggage to brighten us up
