In this audio file, Dr Nahid Toubia, talks about her experience organizing TEDx women and other events in Sudan. She talks about what motivated her to continue holding the event three years in a row: the challenges she faced but also the rewards she gained from the experience. Her boundless energy and ability to motivate young Sudanese people into action become very apparent from the beginning. Dr Nahid remembers these events and pays tribute to one of the first TEDxKhartoumWomen speakers, Dr Laila Zakaria, who passed away recently.
