Absolutely inspired from my trip to Austria and Switzerland to record this cover of The Sound of Music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, in the style of my hero and idol, Julie Andrews.

Edelweiss The Sound Of Music

From the  1998 direct-to-film version of one the greatest Broadway musicals of all time, "Memory" (vocalized by Elaine Paige),  is sung by the character Grizabella, an outcast Jellicle Cat and one-time glamour cat who is now a shell of her former self. 
The song is a nostalgic remembrance of her glorious past and a declaration of her wishes to start a new life, and is seen by many as lamentation of repentance and desire for forgiveness.
