Sahin Sarp a.k.a. Kameri was born and raised in İzmir, Turkey and started his musical career in 2010.
Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, Now he is producing organic house and downtempo with his Kameri project.

"Blessing i grew up in the south of Chile very close to the Andean rain forest, which always helped me to appreciate the importance of nature and love its sounds. When I got older is when I discovered that these could coexist with electronic music, creating a sub-genre that unifies what I liked most about music and dance with what I loved the most on the planet: its nature and its roots.    
 
So one day I got tired of just dancing and listening and I dared to collect my favorite music and then mix it as a DJ. Luckily my relationship with music became much more serious than just listening to it, mixing it up and dancing it, so I began to feel that it also wanted to express itself through me. After much effort I acquired the skills that allowed me to express everything I had inside.

We welcome @Dzhef, who hails from the heart of Tajikistan, where dance music was once an unfamiliar sound amidst the rich traditions of his homeland.

But for Dzhef, music was always a calling. Growing up in a family where every member had a musical gift, his father a skilled music engineer, his mother a vibrant folk singer, it’s no wonder Dzhef found his way into the world of electronic music. 

From being a rock enthusiast to discovering the emotional depths of electronic music, Dzhef has always been on a quest to create sounds that evoke deep feelings and connect us to our most human experiences. ‘’Tag Dir’’ embodies that mission, offering a rich, immersive sound.

We’re also excited to include remixes by our beloved @Marsigmusic and @Einidaeleven , who bring their own unique styles to the project, further enriching the release.

Kamai Music is thrilled to announce a three-track gem of an EP from Savvas, entitled Depth Over Distance. Available on September 20th, this release showcases Savvas’ exceptional talent, drawing from his decades of experience and passion for flawless performance and production.

Chicago-born and based in Greece, Savvas has been a pivotal figure in the electronic music world since the early ’90s. For nearly three decades, he has cemented his reputation with a string of successful releases and remixes on respected global imprints. Displaying remarkable versatility, Savvas has evolved his sound while continuously pushing boundaries. His enduring relevance in the ever-evolving music landscape has led to a wealth of collaborations with some of the world’s most respected producers and underground labels.

His inaugural release on Kamai, Depth Over Distance, is a testament to Savvas’ signature blend of emotive melodies, intricate rhythms, and deep, atmospheric layers. In addition to two original tracks, the EP includes one of our favorite collaborations to date. Berlin-based duo Felix E and Michael Ritter provide a powerful remix, adding their own unique touch to Savvas’ work.

Not trying to pitch, not trying to sell, just sharing a moment in time with the music that surrounds me. This mix was recorded for the Bal du Mac. It’s a four hour mix aimed to cover a night from from cocktails to dinner and pre dance floor vibes.
Recorded mostly alone but with my good friend Ben dropping in to keep me company.

Born out of a guitar jam, the track "Jodec Control" by Kazan producer and selector Tag Ear balances between anxious psychedelia and restrained melancholy.  
An opening element is the kraut‑rock drumming in the vein of Beak>, while a warm, "tropical" synthesizer shifts the composition into an acid realm with a more grounded rhythm, suggesting affinities with the approaches of Ceephax and DMX Krew.
