I wrote this song last spring when many of my friends were at New York Popfest and I couldn't go. Missing out on seeing my favorite bands play is the worst feeling. I've always said I'm a better fan than I am a musician and I love going to see awesome shows!

What the blackbird said

I wrote this song after I made an ass out of myself at a party five years ago and then I played it live just once. 
I haven't been able to let go of the fact that I was such a jerk that time however so last year I found a really bad recording of the show where I played it and I managed to recreate the song. So this one goes out to the poor person who had to put up with me being a drunken fool that night. I'm so sorry!
