Funnily enough but Potsdam & Piano share the same initial letter, the Potsdam edition of Piano Day is carefully curated by East Berlin-born, Potsdam-based poly-instrumental composers Brueder Selke, brothers Sebastian & Daniel Selke, also known as award-winning cello-piano duo CEEYS, founders of Q3Ambientfest. 

For us, two brothers coming from beyond the Iron Curtain, the Wall, with a strikingly serene sense of modesty & humility, rooted in the daily improvisation to manage and resolve shortcomings during Communist-era GDR times and the later reunion of Germany, the most intrinsic part of being a musician is the encounter with friends and fellows...

Piano Day, founded by a group of like-minded people around composer prophet & recording genius, pianist Nils Frahm, unites piano lovers all around the globe, young & old, amateur & professional and holds a smooth transition to our brothers’ longterm collaboration and there is a unique feel of duality within the manner in which the two of us combine our main instruments cello and piano.

We hope you will find some inspiration by listening and watching our handpicked international lineup and support this boutique happening of contemporary music. 
Due to the pandemic situation we had to convert the physical to a digital stage, too.
